"I don't..." Edes whimpered, pressing his cheek to Pepper's warm chest. He was just as his father said, a bundle of cuddly ghishy goo, especially when someone decided to pick him up and hold him first. He was getting sleepy again, against the larger boy's body.
"I know we came near da gate.. Da one with da red trees."

Pepper sat there with Edes curled up on his lap leaning against his chest. He couldn't imagine it would be very comfortable given the rock like formations on his skin. He lifted Edes's head and then tucked a portion of the blanket under his head so that it wasn't so rough.
"Gate?" He didn't recal entering the park via a gate. And thus he didn't want to risk getting lost by attempting to find it.
"I think we better just stay here..." He continued knowing staying in one place is probably better.

Edes blinked? Why was he being shifted around? OH! He got it! Pepper didn't want his head to hurt. But with all of his curls, he was well cushioned.
"Okay.. We stay wait for dad. He be back soon. I know, cause He always come back.. He no leave me.." He didn't sound sad, rather, he sounded dead serious. He shook his head, beaming at Pepper, taking the others Claw into his own hands, playing with his fingers.
"They are so big.. Much Much Bigger den mine.. And warm.. And pointy~ But I likes. I like lots.. It different, Awesomely different." He murmured, spreading them out and then putting his palm in Peppers, smiling. "How does it feel to be big..? Is it nice..?"

Pepper watched as Edes played with his hands, he normally didn't like it when people touched his hands, he was just too worried about hurting them with his long claw like fingers. But Edes was careful and he compared their hands, he had never had anyone tell him his hands were awesome before.
"Uh..." He paused at the question of being big and how it felt.
"Well...I guess it's nice. There are a lot of things I can't do like I could when I was little, but being big means I can go out alone..mor so than I could before." He explained though in truth he knew how it was like to be in a larger body. When he was still able to turn into a teenager at night. But those days were over for whatever reason. But now at least he was growing normally.

Edes turned in Pepper's lap, so now he was straddling Pepper in a way, His wings no longer being Constrained. He flapped them happily, taking Pepper's hands in his own, lacing their fingers together.
"Peppah.. When I be a big boy too, I wanna play da games you like to play. I wanna spend more time with Peppah, and have lots and lots of fun. But next time, I no wanna be lost." He giggled at the last part, leaning up to 'chuu' The tip of Pepper's nose.

Pepper blinked as his fingers were laced with the young boys and then he was 'chuued' he looked a bit taken aback. Such affection was beyong him...normaly his sign or show of affection was chewing on the person.
"Uh...that would be cool..." he murmured after a moment as if trying to get his brain to think straight. This one certianly was affectionate and he wasn't use to that sort of attention. He tried to shrug it off by untangling his hands from edes and then wrapping his arms around the boy so he could touch his wings.

"Really?! Yay!! I get to play with Big Brudder Pepper again!" Edes seemed truly excited, his wings flapping, too in an excited manner. They took quite a liking to being touched, especially by hands that were so different from their own soft texture.
Suddenly, a loud beeping was heard. It was coming from Edes' shirt. From underneigth, he pulled out a necklace with a device attached to it. The Device was making a loud, irritating beeping noise. "Oh!! Daddy will be here soon!" He squeaked happily, hugging Pepper. "You meet my daddy~ He very nice!"

Pepper's expression was trying to be carefully calm and cool though the smile tugging at his lips betrayed how pleased he was at this encounter. Big brother? That was kinda cool. He stiffened at the strange beeping sounds coming from Edes he looked down his fingers trailing through th soft feathers a bit enviously wondering what annoying sound that was.
"....The beeping announces when your father shows up?" He asked a bit curiously.

Edes let out a happy purring sound, shivering in delight as his wings continued to be pet by the rough claws. He looked at his beeping toy and nodded.
"It like a.. A.. Uh.. A Edes finder! It beeps when daddy holds down a button and is near by!"
He was, indeed, correct, and from out of the bushes popped a man with long, light brown hair with a green streak and glasses. He looked alot like Edes, even though it was impossible for them to be blood related. The man even looked like he had been crying.
"Daddy!!" Edes smiled, pulling away from Pepper to run to the man.
The man, Noel, Scooped Edes up, Hugging him tight and kissing his nose, nuzzling him. He had been so terrified that something had happened to his little ward.
"Daddy, Dis is Peppah. He help me and keep me warm when I was lost." Edes squeaked, patting his father's hair, for he clearly saw that he was upset.
Noel wiped his eyes, beaming at Pepper. With a wave of his hands, letters made of misty air came forth infront of him.
Thank you.. Pepper.. I don't know how I could ever repay you..
"We can ask him to come pway wid us!!" A soft voice squeaked from Edes, looking at Pepper happily now. "He my big Brudder now. And we friends."

Pepper felt the pang of jealousy hit him hard as the man scooped Edes up and he had half a mind to grab Edes back but he refrained. He watched as they were reuinited and then slipped from the bench and looked as if he was about to flee but he was held up as the older gentle man mad a series of gestures and words appeared in the air before them.
"Yeah...no problem," He mumebeled thinking it was a neat trick but he was itching to get away now. He didn't like adults much..even if they were nice to him.
"Yeah that could be cool..." he replied lamely as he then turned, "I better get going home though...see yah.." he continued in a rush as he then seemed to bolt into the forest to get away. He wasn't sure why the adult made him nervous...but he fled wanting to get as much distance between him and the man as possible.

"Bye Peppah!!" Edes Called out after him, shouting as loud as he could, yet it was still very soft. He looked to his daddy, who picked him up and began to carry him home.
"Peppah was so much fun..." He murmured softly to his daddy, nuzzling the shoulder where his cheek rested. "We find him 'gain soon.. We play, and not get lost.." His voice was getting softer and softer, his eyes slowly slipping close.
Noel reached up and petted Edes' hair, nodding and smiling to himself as he felt his little boy fall asleep in his arms.
Yes, indeed, they would met again, Edes dreamed, imaging playing with Pepper in the nice warm sunlight. He dreamed that they would meet in spring, when It wasn't so cold.
