My favorite X-mas movie is How The Grinch Stole Christmas. How can you not love something that green and furry heart

You know, I don't think I've ever seen that movie... that might have been why I wasn't so hyped up @ Jim Carey's version
44

surprised you never seen the orignal movie *is in shock* your the first person I know never to have seen it.

Probably cause on Christmas eve, I would be trying to leep at 4 o'clock so I could pass time until the presents rofl Either that or I would be outisde playing... I never really watched much TV when I was little.

[How the Grinch Stole Christmas has been showing on TV all your life and you've never seen it?! gonk
*Dr. Seuss rolls over in grave*
It's so old and they show it LONG before Christmas is even thought of usually.
*ahem*
Okay, enough of that. Just make sure you watch it this year! You're missing out! (Sure, it's old as dirt, with old-as-dirt animation, "phonograph" -sounding voice-overs, and is a little corny...but it's a must-see-before-you-die CLASSIC!) 3nodding ]

i actually went to a community school in which we were taught a bit of African Culture. "Habari gani" is not just a call and response for Kwanzaa, but a greeting from a community leader to a gathering of people. The proper greeting, in return, is "Njema asante habari gani".

So, the greeting: Habari gani? or What's up?/What's the news?
and response: Njema asante habari gani or Fine, thanks!/Good news, thank you!
