Burr continued to stare. It's all he could do. He was actually really glad that none of the gods he actually liked were on the counsel. or anywhere near the building. After a moment, he realized that Sholeh had pretty much burried her head in his shoulder. Apparently it was all a little too much for her. He played games where stuff like this happened all the time. Not nearly as...well cool wasn't the right word...it wasn't like seeing it in real life, but he wasn't a stranger to it.

The smell of scorched flesh filled the room. Soon, the energy died away, leaving twelve skeletons, still on fire, birning an enerald color. The Spectre's vengeful gaze fell upon the remaining three.

Now it was a little too much for Burr as well. At least the smell was. "Come on, let's go back to the shore and wait." Sholeh nodded, but quickly froze again. Burr looked at her a moment, then realized that he couldn't teleport away. He went to move, but quickly found one of his legs shackled to the floor. As well as Sholeh's.
The cloaked figure glanced past the Spectre and at the children. He then turned his face towards Abolisher, his now visible mouth in a stern frown. "Khorne."
"What? Let them stay and watch."
"I'm not your bodyguard. Now."
"But you won't let me die eitherway. You can't."
The frown deepened.

"They shall be left out of this," the Spectre said, waving at the pair of children. The kids, as well as their shackles, were very suddenly out in the middle of a field.

Abolisher simply smirked. "Fine by me. Gives me something to do later."
"You know, you're a real piece of work." Cantata grumbled, getting annoyed with him.
"Thankfully no piece you made."
The cloaked figure ignored the other two and kept his focus on the Spectre.

"Silence," the Spectre demanded. "I care not for your petty bickering. Vengeance must be exacted." Once again, he tried to attack Khorne with a massive energy bolt.

The cloaked figure's grimmace grew, and again the clear shield went up, forcing the energy to move around it and miss it's target.

The Spectre glared at him, then did the same thing again, but at the Creator.

The cloaked figure quickly moved so that the shield now blocked himself and Cantata. Again, the blast missed it's target. "I appologize." the man said once the blast had died down enough. "But there are no replacements for Creation and Destruction. I can't simply let you kill them."

"Then I shall have to destroy you first, Balancer," the Spectre replied, with voice filled with righteous anger. Again, the green energy began to swirl around his hands.

Balancer nodded, and took a quick glance back at the two behind him. Cantata nodded him after a small pause, and vanished in a blue light. He'd be able to hold his own better if he wasn't worried about guarding them. Abolisher smirked, then pulled up a seat behind him, making himself comfortable. "Oh, don't worry about me. I'll be fine here." he said with an amused grin. Balancer, keeping his shield up in case the man decided to blast at him, turned his head to look at Abolisher better. His hood was up enough that his eyes were now visible. His expression was as calm and neutral as ever. But his eyes were nothing but contempt. Had there been anyone to take his place as the Abolisher...he would not be doing this. Quickly, he turned his attention back to his rather unwanted foe.

"Prepare yourself, mortal," the Spectre said, "For though you have the powers of a god, you shall die this day." Suddenly, the Spectre disappeared, and reappeared behind the Balancer. With just as much speed, he unleashed his attack upon the being that dared to stand in his way.

Not having enough time to spin around with his shield, Balancer dove forward, going through his own shild so what it was now behind him. Not having a solid hold on it, the blast knocked the shield into him and pushed against his back. A long black sword soon appeared in his hand. A powerful dark attack to accompany a secure pure white defence.

"You are obsessed with your balance," the Spectre chastised, "A balance that will correct itself whether or not you exist." The Spectre grew in size, and filled the room with an immense green light, so bright that normal people would've gone blind.
