Dating is haram. Period. Muslim women can only be around a non-mahram man if a mahram is present. You aren't even allowed to touch a non-mahram man, let alone leer at one. Look it up.

I think people need to stop just posting their baseless opinions. I'm pretty sure none of you are sheikhs. This topic shouldn't even be put up for debate. I think it's pretty obvious that dating is haram.

Dating as always haraam. Even two with the best intentions will have temptations when alone together. Male and Female should never be alone unless they are married or family.

Seeing as how quite a few of the "baseless opinions" fall in line with what is Islamically correct, I'm not quite sure what you're upset about.
