Ellandra stroked Sam's orange fluffy hair, smiling thoughtfully. "It might be just Bel. . . I took extremely after my mother, physically anyway, after all. . . perhaps Bel will be the same."
Distracted from the babies now, Rhian skipped over to Ziazan and tackled her sibling in a bear-hug. "Sibling-Ziazan, is there any more to build? Do you want to go out and have some fun? We hardly ever play together or anything!"

Zia flailed its arms and wings a bit at the sudden tackle then hugged its sister back, giggling. "I don't think there's anything else to build right now. Let's go out and play in the yard. We can try putting up the swing on the tree."
Faolan nodded, grinning at his son's bright-as-hell orange hair. "Maybe th' boy just takes too much after me, eh?"

Rhian giggled herself and, still hugging Zia, started to tug the smaller Essentic outside to the tree. "Yes, yes, let's put the swing up! Then we can test it out!"
Ellandra smiled and kissed Faolan's cheek. "Not too much, Faolan - just enough."

Zia waved to its parents as its sister dragged it outside. "I think the swing's in the shed."
Faolan grinned at his wife. "Would it be so bad if he was more like me?"

"Okay, Sibling-Ziazan! Let's get it! Come on, come on!"
Ellandra smiled. "Well, apart from the fact that having a clone child's a bit eerie, I'm not sure that Keagan would be able to handle having two of you around."

"He loved me as a baby an' Sam reminds him a great deal o' me at tha' age," Faolan chuckled. "I donnae think Sam will grow up as wild as me, though."

"Oh? Why do you say that, Faolan?" Ellandra asked quietly, peering up into her husband's golden eyes.

"Well, I think he did a good enough job," Ellandra said, kissing Faolan's cheek again. "He kept you alive to meet me again, didn't he?"

"Not for lack o' tryin'," Faolan laughed, adjusting the infant in his arms so he could hold her with one arm, the other snaking around Elle's waist. "What would you say if I roped our Essentic kids int' baby-sitting an' I take you out somewhere nice fae dinner, maybe even rent a hotel room fae th' night. Take in a show, too, if you want."

"That - that would be wonderful, Faolan," Ellandra said quietly snuggling up against her husband as they held their babies. "Do you think they could watch the twins safely, though?" The worried mother rose up in her as she thought about what accidents might befall the four little ones.

"Zia's pretty capable and it can always get Rory an' Lee or Da t' help if needed. Rory and Da know enough on raisin' kids at least," Fao said, giving a shrug. "I suppose it'd be a good experience fae Rhian, too. She needs t' do a little growin' up an' givin' her a task like this will make her want t' prove she's responsible."

"If you're sure," Ellandra said, still looking a bit pensive. "I'm not sure I want to think about what Rhian might get up to if she's given the chance, however. . ."

Ellandra sighed a little. "I'm afraid her naivety combined with her older body might lead to some. . . awkward situations. . ." the brunette paused for a moment to let that sink in, and then continued, "And then there's the fact that she seems to have a hard time understanding that rules aren't supposed to be ignored or broken."
