I've missed it so much, and I know a few people had been plotting how to revive it; but I figured that probably the best way to bring it back was to really just jump in and do it. Because I know at least for myself, when I plan to much I don't get things done, it's better for me to just do things than to let myself over think it.

 I found one of the Limited 2nd Hogwarts boys, coincedentally my Kalan was that exact one, while looking through the MPL Profiles thread. I've thought about PMing some of the people that had Lolitas that are still around and asking if they still have images and are interested in getting this place active and running again. Part of me really wants to do art of all the lolitas we've got tracked down and start this up as kind of a free shop, with Credit to Flutter of course, to get some new blood coursing through here. I'm not sure about that, though.

하루하루... I've thought about doing art of the lolitas, as well, Lolli. :3
It looks like I've got the updated versions of all of my lolitas except Tatsumi, who was a custom. And Miyoko, of course, but she was never updated from the original. I did some new edits of them, though, and I think they look nifty. >w< <3 ...무뎌져가네

As soon as I have my new laptop I'm starting a unique lines B/C, but that won't be for several-several-several months so until then all my art time could be dedicated to loli art.

By all means you could do art if you wanted to, but as a shop (free or not) even with credit would probably not be the best idea. Since we don't own it (the lolitas) we'd really have not right to distribute it.
That's why I have that nice little disclaimer image at the front of the lost and found album.
I'm all for trying to get all the old members to come back, but bringing in new people would really need to wait until the shop comes back up.

I don't think it would be an issue if someone could get permission though. If Flutter would post something here, letting us know it was all okay, then I think that something like that could be arranged.

I promise I'm not trying to be a complete downer, but another issue would be that RP in the guild has only ever been for owners of MPLs. Because it would just be to confusing to have people running around playing characters that didn't really exist, or rather that don't exist as lolitas.
And really none of the lolitas that we have images of will likely ever be distributed again even if the shop does reopen (as in the past, even regulars were only distributed for a certain amount of time), so if art of them was distributed to non-owners for them to play then what would happen in the event of the shop reopening.

Not if they made it exclusively available to the people who already have lolitas. It would be no different than it is now, seeing as how none of us really have lolitas anymore, they can't be fed or anything of that sort. Perhaps something like a shop inside of the guild or something. Of course, that would all be up to Flutter and Uziraff really. Regardless of what we say, it's something that they would have to either agree or disagree on, it's not up to us. 3nodding

Shops have always been allowed within the guild. Pocky used to do family portraits.
I think it would be alright, it was just the issue of new people that I would say would be a no go. Not saying new people would be bad, it's always more fun when more people are playing, but until the shop reopens it wouldn't really be a possibility. We'll all just have to work to get the people that were here before to come back.
