I've decided after thinking a lot about the unmatching style that I don't like it, personally. It seems to me to be random and while I get that there are guidelines, the avatars that spawn from them seem...I don't know. It's important to know that I'm not bashing the style, I just don't think it's for me. It kind of annoys me because I don't really think of it as structured. Haha then again maybe I'll try it later and think completely different xd

I actually agree now, after trying it.
But this isn't to say that I won't continue to include it in some avi's. XD

Obviously if an avatar is going for a theme it won't necessarily match.
Those are still fun to play around with.

This is my smee avatar, a character form peter pan, I'm certainly going for a theme but the over all outfit matches.

First off, love the avatar.
Secondly, yeah none of the non-matching guides really seem to be that great to me. For instance, they have examples of "bad avatars" but they don't really go into why it's a bad avatar, and same with the "good avatars"
