"I had my happiness.." He stated sourly, "Perhaps one chance is all you can hope for... and I got two.. well... three... beautiful children out of it.. Perhaps that was all that was meant for me." His smile was weak and his eyes refused to look at her. "But you.. you still have that chance." Iniabi bit his own lip, feeling a soft wind rustle his mane.

"Don't your children give you happiness at all...?" She sighed, thinking for a moment, then pulled the cloth from her leg and tied it to his instead. "You will find happiness, I know you will. Just don't give up hope..."

"Of course they do." He stated with a nod, smiling softly as he thought about his children. "But sadly... its not the same. Having someone who completes you.. who is apart of your very soul.. being torn away... it..." He shook his head not wanting to think about it anymore. "I'm sorry.. I..." He let out a breath, taking everything of himself to not start crying. When he saw that she began tying her cloth on his arm he looked at her strangely, not understanding as a tear did finally fall from his eyes, "But its..." He tried to object.

She shook her head gently, tying it carefully so the vibrant colors showed off. "You keep it. It was from Ozzie...You need it more than I do..." Smiles at him more warmly now, feeling a bit protective of him now.

Iniabi gave her more of a bright smile but shook his head and carefully untied it from his leg. "Its yours Amber. From your mother. I hardly knew Ozzie. I met her once when I was a cub, but really the only thing I knew about her was what Kitten would tell me. It would mean more for you to keep it." He offered it back to her, hoping she would take it. "But thank you for caring, it means a lot to me."

Amber nodded softly, taking it and attempting to get it back on. She quickly found out it was easier to tie onto something else rather than herself. "Ugh...could you tie it please? It won't stay..."

He nodded and gave a smile, "Of course.." He grabbed it and began tying it to her arm. "There... how about that?"

Shakes her arm until she's satisfied it'll stay on during flight. "Yes, thank you." Looks back up at him, smiling as her tail wraps around her leg.

He smiled at her as he slowly stood up, lifting a paw under her chin, "Keep your chin up, you're a wonderful girl Amber.." He meant that. "But.. I need to get back to my kids, even though they're teens now... I can't leave them alone for too long. It was a pleasure meeting you, and I mean it... we're family, so we will see each other again." With that, he smiled at her one last time before he began walking off to leave her in her own thoughts.
