Oh, my friend and I are crossplaying as Natsuo and Youji, the zeroes from Loveless, at an upcoming con! 3nodding I kind of said "No fanservice!" though, because it would put me off my groove - I find the idea a bit uncomfortable.

Fire Emblem is a videogame series that started in Japan but has began to have a lot of players in America.
I'm not sure what the first game in America was but I'm pretty sure it was Fire Emblem Sacred Stones.
Fire Emblem characters have also populated the SSB universe with Marth, Roy, Ike, and Lyn. And then there's the trophies of Sothe Elincia, and the Black Knight.
Fire Emblem has always had yaoi but it's recently had an uprisal in yaoi since Fire Emblem Path of Radiance, Super Smash Brothers Brawl, and Fire Emblem Radiant Dawn. The main reason why it has became so popular is because of all the canon and crackiness with Ike/Soren,Ike/Ranulf,Tibarn/Naesala,Edward/Leonardo,Sothe/Tormund/Ranulf/Janaff,Ulki/Rhys,Boyd/Rhys,Oscar/Kieran,and basically all males over all other males. Because Fire Emblem Radiant Dawn's males... are all at least bisexual.Except Nolan and Largo... oh no wait... they've been paired up to.

Marokia mmm... does anyone have a favorite fire emblem yaoi pairing?I have to many... Bwah!! Raven/Lucius, Raven/Lucius, Raven/Lucius. I feel like an idiot for shipping such a typical pairing so strongly, but it puts me in that silly fangirl mood! pirate If I were another person, I'd even write some fanfic! (First Fire Emblem game in Europe & the US was FE7/Rekka no Ken/Blazing Blade (I think it's called) or just Fire Emblem as it was called in the Europe/US release. It's the one I'm talking about!) Raven and Lucius' support conversations for those who've never played FE7! What's more, if you don't get an A rank between them, the character endings say that "Raven vanished, never to be seen again" or some similar phrase. It's on my list of OTPs, fffff. The support conversations between Heath and Legault amuse me greatly, but I wouldn't say I ship them, per se. Quite sadly, I have yet to play Path of Radiance or Radiant Dawn, and am yet to acquire an pairings I really ship with any passion in Sacred Stones, aside from some miscellaneous het ones and the completely mandatory red knight/green knight one. I do find it very funny to ship Marth and Roy in SSBM, though. My friend and I spent some hour or two taking awkward looking snapshots one day, heh.

For the longest time, Gravitation was my favourite shonen-ai manga. I drew fanart. I wrote fanfic. (Both have been placed in the rubbish bin where they belong. xD) But then, something happened. I read the last 6 volumes of Gravitation.
Safe to say I'm not much of a Gravitation fan anymore, and when I do fangirl over it, I tend to ignore New York (what happened in New York, stays in New York, if you will).
I did read others, though. I still love FAKE, Only the Ring Finger Knows and Waru. I enjoyed the first volume of Loveless, and the first volume of Eerie Queerie (again, until I read later volumes).
But my favourite "yaoi manga" would have to be Stigma. I suppose it isn't a true "yaoi manga" because there are never any glaring signs that hey, these characters are definitely a canon couple. There are however, a lot of hints, and a lot of love between Stork and Tit. One of the things I like about this manga is that the reader can interpret Stork and Tit's relationship however they like - as a romantic relationship, or as a parental relationship. I choose to interpret those hints to mean that Stork and Tit did love each other that way (or at least, Stork loved Tit that way, because perhaps Tit is a bit too young for those sorts of feelings.) I don't even care about (or want) canon confirmation that they're sleeping together. The pairing's fragile (and, again, Tit's way too young). Anyway, the love is definitely there.
Wow, I went off on a tangent. All in all, I've given up all but a few yaoi fandoms for slash. sweatdrop
