Bradley reached out and shook her hand in a strong grasp. "It's a pleasure. I'm Bradley Mason, but you can call me Brad if you feel so inclined." He explained, pulling his hand back to lower his hood. "It's quite a strange thing, ey? Finding someone who has a similar power, when there are so many different powers out there."

Marie nodded. She felt his strong grasp, but it wasn't something that was uncomfortable, glad that she was half vampire. "Yes, I've heard of some similarities, like Renata of the Volturi guard and Bella Cullen, Demitri of the Volturi Guard, and Alistair, the nomad, there are a couple others, but the power never manifests in the same way...Makes you wonder if the two worked together if they would be unstoppable in their field..." She noted, for the whole Cullen confrontation with the Volturi actually helped her discover exactly what she was, although she wasn't present, word got around. .

Bradley nodded slightly, contemplating what she had said. Though, he also contemplated the hidden thought in her words. He easily shook it off, however, and thought about his last confrontation with the guard. "I suppose you're right. They'd be virtually infalliable in their field." He agreed, nodding slightly again, as if to agree with what he'd said. "On the flip side, however, there's a big gap of power if they're split."

Marie gave a small smile. "Yes, that is also true. Kinda funny how that works out, huh?" She commented. "Well, I need to head back, I was kinda looking for a store, and a book I ordered should have arrived today...If you ever wanna talk, I'm sure you'll be able to find me." She said, tucking a few stray bangs behind her ear before she turned to leave. He seemed fascinating and all, but it had seemed earlier, that he had a kind of dislike for her half status.

Bradley nodded, watching her turn away. "Likewise. I'll be around." He said, his tone unreadable. He flipped his hood up, and in a second, he had vanished without a sond, left sprinting off into the darkness of the forest. There's something about that girl. Interesting, yes, but a half breed. She can't be good news. He thought, shaking his head. He sprinted off into the forest in the search of a meal, sure that he would return to the area later to find Marie, if she didn't come looking for him first.

It didn't take long for Marie to get back into the shop lined streets of Port Angeles. Some people were walking, umbrella at the ready. She gave a small smile at that before turning down a side road that led to her appartment. She decided to scrap the whole costume search idea, for it would be easier to buy one online. Surely enough, when she got to her mailbox, there was a small package inside, containing the wanted book. Marie grabbed it and headed inside, closing the door behind her, and making her way to her kitchen to make her some hot chocolate. Once that was accomplished, she sat down in her recliner by a window to sit and read.

Bradley prowled the forests, listening for food sources. He took his time, however, as in his mind, he had no reason to rush. Finding a rather massive grizzly, Bradley went after it, finishing it off without spilling a single drop of blood.
Roughly an hour later, he was back in town, his hood up over his head, though the weather did not insist it. He didn't want to be bothered, simply. He was on a mission to find out where Marie lived. He scaled a building without a sound, travelling briskly along the rooftops to one directly adjacent to the half-human's home. How... homely. He thought, mentally chuckling at just how human the halfbreed was. Facing the sun, and away from Marie's house, he surveyed the area, the sun creating a perfect shilouette of a misplaced man.

After about an hour or so of reading, Marie looked up from her book, newly familiar scent fainly coming to her. Her cup of hot chocolate was empty by then, and she had almost read the whole book. Getting up from her seat, she sat the book down, no bookmark necessary, and took her empty cup and brought it back into the kitchen, and sat it in the sink to be washed later. After that, she returned to the living room, and opened the bay windows beside her reading chair.

Bradley turned towards Marie's house, spotting the now open window. He chuckled mentally to himself, and walked over to the edge of the roof. In one leap, he spanned the distance between buildings, and swung through the open window. In midair, he snagged her book, before landing just next to a wall. He leaned against it, pretending to flip through the book. He faked a large yawn, keeping his eyes on the book.

Marie shook her head at the unnecessary acrobatics, and the snatching of her book. "What, not to your liking?" She asked curiously, taking her book back, and returning to her chair. She curled her feet up in the chair with her and opened it once again, looking up at him over the top of it. "Feel free to sit, or not...which ever you prefer..." She said, pointing out the loveseat..

Bradley chuckled, shaking his head. "No, not to my liking. Too... human." He responded, watching her curl up in the chair. If he didn't know any better, and couldn't smell her, she could be any normal human. He looked over to the loveseat, then back to Marie with a look of disdain on his face. "I.. think I'll pass."

Marie gave a small laugh. "Too human? Just remember, you used to be one.." She pointed out nonchalantly. " I would ask if I could get you something to drink, but I think that would be unnecessary, dont you?" She asked, continuing to read in her perifial vision. "Well, since all pleasantries can be avoided, is there a reason you came here?" Marie stated as she closed the book and set it down again. "You have my undivided attention." .

Bradley chuckled, scanning about the room. "A reason? Not especially." He commented, scanning the room once more. "I was bored, and figured that maybe bothering you for a bit would surve as some sort of ammusement." He explained, looking over at her. And to give you a chance to prove that atleast some of the half-humans could be tolerable.

Marie smiled. "Well, what kind of amusement did you have in mind., you are the guest, afterall. It would only be fair to let you choose." She said, standing up from her chair, picking up the book and setting it on her bookshelf. "I'm up for just about anything." She told him. She was suprised that he was trying to interact with her, but she wouldn't be rude or unthankful. .

Bradley furrowed his eyebrows, stroking an imaginary beard. "Well, that's the problem. I don't have a single clue of what to do." He confessed, still pretending to stroke his nonexistent beard. He stopped, looking over at Marie with a face conflicted with thought. "I don't suppose you would know what to do for amusement either?"
