Well it is coming from what developers know about the Revolution. They have some idea as to what it will be like so they can begin development for it. Though perhaps not what the specs of the Rev will actually be like, it is perhaps a somewhat close estimate which gives a vague idea of what the power of the new console will be like.

cant argue there, still, I've no idea what Rev games will look like. either way though, it'll be pretty sweet. maybe we'll see the Alien VS Predator franchise resurrected for better use on Nintendo in a better way. or more SW games.
the controller has much potential for sweet first person swording action. ninja

hm...AvP on the Rev would be pretty cool. and Star Wars games... twisted .
I'm just looking forward to it coming out, I honestly don't care how it stacks up to the 360 and PS3.

Don't you guys think that when developers are making cross platform games--that they might have to work longer and harder on Revolution formatted versions because of the controller...
And possibly ruining some games like that, because everyone will expect that any game that comes out for the Revolution should make some use of the new controller.

And why should they all make use of the newness? The DS has perfectly good games that use not the stylus. It would probably be the same with the Rev, they could pay lip service to the awsomeness while not actually changing the game that much.

well with the Revolutions new controller, there would have to be custom features, and the Nunchuku peripheral already works fine.
Nunchuku peripheral functions.
main controller: Up, Down Left Right=X, B, Y, A buttons. B trigger = R button A button = C button Select = C button or Select button start = start button infared eye = turning/sight(mostly applied in FPS games)
nunchuku peripheral: stick = movement Z1 trigger = L/Z button Z2 trigger = Z/L button
and if all else fails, just use the Gamecube controller.
or follow these differing functions for the basic controller... Infared eye = turning Up, Down, Left, Right = movement B trigger = attack A button = jump Select button = change weapon Start Button = pause
I figured it easy. ^_^ and tilt the controller to the side to hit up old NES games. ^_^ or use Nunchuku peripheral or Gamecube controller to play NES, SNES, N64 games. ^_^
THE NINJA HAS SPOKEN!! ninja
