Raquel embraced the kiss, sweet at first, but soon found herself unleashing the passion and emotion she had been bottling up for what felt like weeks. Months even. She had been so busy taking care of Damian, and fearing she'd worsen his condition, she hadn't so much as thought about intimacies except once or twice,
and now being emotionally charged from all of this... it was too much for her.

Damian was becoming lost as well, but it wasn't until he thought of the possibility of another prospective buyer coming in, or even the agent, that he broke through one of the kisses. That embarrassment would somehow find its way right back to Veratia, where they were destined to return no matter what they wanted on this planet.
"Not our house yet, love," he whispered, though was not ashamed to acknowledge that he wasn't about to stop.

Raquel still had her eyes closed and lips parted as she tried to calm her breathing. Though she still held him dangerously close. "No one's coming though..." She attempted though didn't know that for a fact. "W-we could get ourselves lost....the gardens and the vineyards-" But she stopped herself. She was rather frustrated, mostly with the fact that it was a silly idea, and she should learn to contain herself. She merely sighed, resting her head on Damian's shoulder in defeat.

Damian's own mind raced through all the possibilities. It was true that no one was there. The driver could wait, but...
Raquel already hung her head in defeat, and so he let his own drop to her shoulder as well, laughing softly.
"I do miss you... But I suppose when we're actually in a place we'd have no worries in, right?"

He was just as frustrated as she was, but holding her close would have to be enough. She was always enough for him.

"Want the rest of the tour? Or will you say that you want this house now and we can find out the legal details later? I already have a plan, though you would have to be alright with everything first..."

"Well I know its perfect...Though I wouldn't mind seeing the rest...I am very tired...." She admitted, nuzzling into his neck a little. "Damian...this is all to surreal..." She smiled softly, feeling suddenly exhuasted all over. She should be what with running around all day, this big surprise, then feeling rather frustrated right then. But it was so much with the overwhelming happiness, she was feeling drowsy with pure bliss. It all seemed too good to be true. "Its like a dream..." She murmured softly, kissing his neck sweetly.

When he pulled back, he could see that the tired eyes looking at him needed to sleep. With her face in his hands, he kissed her again, and began to gently pull her in the direction of the bedroom again.
"One more place. The library is something you must see, and then we shall go home. Well, to the lovebird's home, but we'll slip into our pajamas and rest after this long day, eh?"

She smiled, nodded as she rubbed the bridge of her nose a bit, letting herself melt into him as they walked, though was careful not to lean on him to where he couldn't support himself. "I love you Damian..." She smiled, reaching out to get his crutches for him. "You and your amazing ways...you could be showing me a one room apartment in Veratia and I'd still be ecstatic because I'd know it'd be the place I'd get to spend my forever with you..." She smiled, shaking her head.

"...though I must say I do like this better than veratia..." She gave him a smirk as she handed them over. "You've got me spoiled Mr. Centurion..." She leaned up and kissed his lips softly. "In more ways than one..." She chuckled a little to herself, drying her eyes and fixing herself up from her emotional reaction to the studio and overall house.

"Ooh, I don't know. You spoil me, too." He gave her a cunning wink before hobbling excitedly off into the other part of the house he wanted to show her.

It was the library.

Damian looked at the place as a haven from the busy world, and his own personal version of the public libraries he could never frequent himself for fear of being pinned by paparazzi, deranged fans, or criticized for being seen in such a low-end public service house. But, more importantly, he saw a place for Raquel to be able to study and get serious work done when she needed some time away as well.

"What do you think?" he said, taking a few more careful crutched steps into the large room. "This is by far my favorite place inside."

Raquel smiled widely nodding as she followed him all he way in.
She loved how it was large but didn't make her feel so small. It was...cozy...
"It's beautiful..." She whispered under her breath as she looked up at the walls and walls of books. It was as if all of her and Damian's wants and needs fora house were all in one package. "Damian...this really is perfect for us..." She nodded definitely as she looked to him, giving him a determined smile.

As they stood in the middle of the room, looking all around them, he could feel it, too. They'd found the place they'd call home, even if it was large. They'd soon have friends over, though. Richard and Lorey, along with Teagan and maybe even Nat if things worked out that way.

"The house will be in both of our names," he said as they began making their way back out to the car for their drive home. The day had been long, and they'd both made the decision to buy the house. Staying would just make them even more fatigued.
"Then, when we're married, we can change it so that your married name appears on the certificates. We'll figure this out as we go along..."

Damian heaved himself inside the car, so thankful to be off his feet.

Raquel scooted in next to him, shutting the door behind her. She snuggled up to him, resting her head on his shoulder. "It's all working out for us... Imagine that..." She chuckled as she shut her eyes. "Getting away form that dirty city...living our lives in peace...it'll be wonderful...." She sighed, finding herself on the border of dozing off right then and there. Part of her was too excited to sleep. The other was exhuasted however, and was slowly winning as she found herself dipping in and out of consciousness.

"It's all ...going to be ok..." She mumbled, smiling lightly as she nuzzled into him.

((-looks at Raquel's last bit of dialogue here- Yeah right. D: ))

--------------

It had been quite some time since Damian had come to his home on Druis. Nat was given just a day's notice that he would be coming to live there with the cat, and was told that he was allowed to stay, save that he didn't make much noise. They were both in the grieving process for Raquel, he knew, and so Damian did his best not to be harsh or cruel towards Nat.
He loved her first, Damian told himself. That warranted respect in some way.

Once he was properly settled in and Trinity had all her gadgets and gizmos set up, there seemed little change in Damian's life. It was the same routine, in a different place. He would make his rounds around the house, remembering all the times they'd stayed there. True it had only been a few visits over the years since they weren't quite ready to settle down on Druis together, but the most vivid memories the house held were Raquel's wonder and dazzlement with every detail. And the moment she found out that it could all be hers with one word! That was what stayed in his mind the most. Less memories, though, in this environment would be healthier for him.

Or so he liked to think. Damian became distant and quiet, even to Richard and Lorey. Though with those two friends, Damian insisted that he be someone to come to if they had money issues or needed anything at all. Lorey was seven months pregnant, and Damian would be damned if that child didn't get everything it needed. It was his new project, to save funds for education and anything possible for the child, even if Richard and Lorey were humbly denying any of his help. They insisted everything was taken care of.

How he wished the same could be said for him.

Everyone had been trying hard to reach out to Damian. Lorey wasclosest to him as a person, While Nat was the only other one who felt the same way towards Raquel as he had. Even Teagan had tried to lend a caring word or two since she and Raquel had gotten close over the past two years.

Yet Richard felt he should step up and try to pick Damian off his feet, since he himself had gone through the exact same thing with his first wife. Damian needed to set things straight with himself and gain closure so he wouldnt spend the rest of his days a tortured soul.

He needed to bring his friend out of his reclusive lifestyle beforeit became too permenant.

"Damian...? You home?" He called out entering the house on his own.

Damian was standing in his living room in front of the window to the gardens with a glass of wine. Alcohol was slowly becoming the one thing he could use to get his mind off things, though he rarely became drunk. It was just a distraction until the glass was empty.

Though a new distraction came as he heard Richard's voice. Damian turned, revealing himself to be dressed in his old trademark tuxedo. Dressed up and with no place to go, Damian felt a little back in his element, even if he was surrounded by farmland.
"Ah, Richard," he said, stepping forward in his straight-backed, graceful way. "How is Lorey and the baby? I hope everything is well with you both."

Richard nodded, slipping his coat off to hang up in the near by closet. "We're all fine... The baby is healthy and Lorey's glowing as usual..." He smiled softly, looking down.

"Though the question is...are you alright?" He asked, making his way into the living room as well.
