((Just so everyone knows, i may occasionally call for a quiz. The quiz will be sent to you thru pm's and i will expect you to answer it as soon as you recieve it. I certainly hope you will not cheat and go looking for an answer in this thread. If you dont know a proper response, please say so. This way i will know where i need to head with the lessons))
"Very good, Tora-chan. Dont worry all of you, it will get easier as we go on. Welcome Momo-cahn, please take a seat now. All of you have done very well, remember to speak softly and smoothly, with a calm. Of course, dont remain perfectly calm the entire time you are entertaining. The men you are with are paying for you simply because of your youth. The older woman, the geisha, we do most of the work. Your job is to sit and look pretty, adding a girlish giggle to the atmosphere. So next lesson. We covered the greeting of the men in the room, but that isnt what you do first. When you first enter the room where the zashiki (party) is being held what do you do?"

Tora raises her hand, "First see if everyone is there then introduce yourself, then start pooring sake and serving food?" She asked very very softly; knowing this probably was not the right answer. But what was she here for if she knew everything? Tora smiled shyly and blushed, she sat back to listen to the right answer.

Mizu's cheeks colored as she offered an answer, not used to speaking up much in front of people not from her own okiya. "A maiko would introduce herself and greet the patron, geisha, and other maiko with a bow or a few words perhaps? And then take a seat beside her Onee-sama and offer food or drink to everyone?" She could feel her cheeks and even her ears heating from her shyness and embarrassment, and she lowered her eyes to the ground.

Tora glanced over at Mizu. "I know her! We're from the same Okiya," she thought. She saw how red Mizu was and glad she wasn't the only one who had answered. She smiled.

Mizu saw the other girl looking at her, and managed a small smile. It was Tora, another one of her Onee-sama's maiko. Wondering vaguely under pressure whether they would get to be friends, she forced down her blush. She waited, wondering whether she had answered Kyoku-sama's question properly.

kairisesshy Kyoku laughed softly "You are right on most matters Tora-chan, very good answer. I'll wait to see if anyone else has an answer be for i go on." Mameo raises her hand in the air lightly, "You would make sure that everyone is happy and situtated and has met everyone, then tend to extra food needs... as you should probably already have the food ready."

"My goodness, you are all so eager! Slow it down, we are doing basic introductions right now." Kyoku laughed and shifted on her feet, smoothing the front of her kimono

((Sorry for not responding college = exams = no time, almost x.x))
Iyasu looked over to her room mate and gave her a sorrowful smile. 'I think I need to put an alarm clock in the room . . . I'll ask Momo-chan later about that . . .' She thought to herself as she turned her view back to the teacher.
"Bow to everyone in the room, then introduce yourself before sitting next to your Onee-san. Perhaps, after sitting down you check on anyone who needs sake, or tea and wait for your Onee-san to tell you to do something or chat pleasently?" She offered her answer in a meek tone, leaving a hint of uncertainty in it.

Mizu's now-cool cheeks heated slightly at Kyoku-sama's comment, though she admitted that her sensei's laughter was one of the most alluring and cheerful she had ever heard. Smiling, she turned her attention on the girl who had just spoken. She could recognize the other girl from the Teahouse, but she didn't know her at all. Realizing she had begun to stare, she quickly glanced away, looking to Kyoku-sama instead for more on the current lesson.

Ao-sagi stood outside the classroom, listening to the voices within. Class had started already, since she did not manage not finish her chores in time. She bit her lip in thought. The corridor was quite deserted, and there was a small niche containing cleaning utensils. She leaned against the wall there and was relieved to find that she could hear everything that was spoken within the classroom. Listening intently, she settled down there.
((OOC: Please sign me up for class, I will join in when the next lesson begins. Thank you!))

Sensing a pause in the lesson, Ao-sagi gathered her courage and dared to enter the classroom, bowing deeply to her sensei and her classmates, both in greeting and apology, before she went to the back of the room and settled down silently. kairisesshy ((you can join at any time Cinerea-san, im not doing exact lessons like maybe the history class is ^^ )) ((OOC: Thank you very much! Mizu's eyes flickered to the other girl, giving her a brief smile before she turned her attention to the front of the class, not wanting to get caught not paying attention to the lesson.
