As they walked to the room one of the knights leaned over to the other and whispered, "Why don't we just throw him into a dungeon and tell those filthy Zoras to pay homage to the king." Scar Scale eyes narrowed when he heard this. "The princess will probably have something to say about that. Bless her for her kindness but damn her for a fool." The other replied. They came to the room and opened the door. "There you go Zora."

"The Zoras are equal to us. Why make them pay homage?" Zelda asked. "You may still be too young to understand such things daughter." The king replied. "I'm old enough, I think I know what I'm talking about father." She said quickly. "Either way... I'm still the king. Maybe someday when you are a queen you will understand."

The knights pushed him into a dark room. Scar Scale blinked rapidly and his eyes adjusted. It was a round room made of stone. There was a small pool in the center of the room. He snorted, "Such hospitality.."

Zelda glared and turned her back on him and left. She walked down the hall searching for Scar Scale. She heard splashes and entered the dark room. "Scar Scale?" She asked while trying to find her way through the dark.

"Zelda!" He answered and rushed towards her. "We should leave as soon as possible."

"I think we should wait. You may be able to stop some of the animosity between the Hylians and Zoras. They expect you to bring the peace. Please stay." Zelda continued.

"Well, maybe if you weren't a pirate you wouldn't have to go through life-or-death situations. It's not like I knew you were a princess. Maybe that's what you should be doing in the present time. Being who you are! Princess of the Great Seas, not a pirate!" He said raising his voice.

Zelda peeled his hands off her shoulders and paced back and forth, "Do you think I like being a princess? Tied down and forced to live in one place, never doing anything exciting. Does that sound fun to you?" She stopped her pacing and looked at him, "Listen, we were sent back in time for a reason. I think that this is the reason. We need to stop the Hylians and Zoras from warring."

Scar Scale watched her leave, "Why doesn't she get it? Who would ever want to be a pirate when you are of royal blood?" He felt the scar over his eye. The cut ran deep. He punched the door in anger and disgust, "Those filthy pirates don't deserve life. Maybe if they were gone Tetra might see that she should be princess."

The next day Zelda wandered around the castle. As she walked through one of the great halls. A large man in a dark cape and armor walked passed her with a few Guerdos following close behind. Zelda watched them as they met with the king not far away.

The Guerdo man bowed to the king and spoke, "My king, I heard you needed help with removing an inferior race. We would be more than willing to help."
