Well different people are different, and so it's not right to paint everyone with the same brush no matter what religion or "group" they belong to. It is important to understand, why they believe what they believe in, where are they coming from and what are their backgrounds. Normally I judge people as individuals but it's always handy to keep the knowledge you gained from experience, with any particular group of people, so that in case similar issues arise, you know how to deal with it.

I have met some atheists in my life, and over the net. And I agree although it's not necessarily easy being an atheist, however it is true, that such people normally voice their opinions more on the net than in real life. I'm like if you have the guts, talk face to face in the open, but unfortunately most don't and many run away once you have broken their argument. Generally speaking my experience with atheists has been negative. That does not mean I'm putting all atheists in one basket, but most of my encountering with atheists has not been very pleasant, and of course I will state my reasons why. Normally I'd want to congratulate an atheist for trying to be different, thinking different, probably they found something wrong with their religion like Christianity and so decided not to follow like his/her parents did. If that is the case I do congratulate them for thinking different, because my job becomes reduced from disproving a false god, to just proving that there is just One God, the Creator.

However most of them think they are already too smart, rebellious or just plain "intelligent" or cool, and they are already arrogant, and think they have their game all sorted out and they are in no need of thinking any further. It seems that they are open minded when actually they are not. They feel they are already the most "intellectual" by labeling themselves or talking like atheists, when actually they are being narrow minded by stopping their thinking process right there and sticking to one view. I have grown tired of this big bang, and then monkey Darwin theory trying to say things came outta nothing, when clearly they can't even prove what they are saying. Rather many times this Darwin theory has been proven to be FALSE by many scientists, and yet they seem to persist on the same idea. I'm like come on if you're that intelligent at least come up with something new. Anyways and like some of the intellectual posts made earlier, they can't prove that God, Heaven or Hell does not exist. If they can't at least allow the opponent to tell you what he has to say.

Normally atheists come up with this made up plan, just to be arrogant and criticize the religious people, already coming up with conclusions and saying things like you're close minded, dumb etc just cuz you believe in God, you believe in a Creator, and you don't support the crap that they believe. My point is, if you're so sure about your idea, then let me put arguments against you, and let me prove you why I believe what I do, and then tell me what you have to say about that. They just turn a deaf ear, and keep on rambling about their same ole stupid "scientific" proven false stuffs. At one point when you can break their argument, it's funny to see how they start contradicting themselves. Maybe these people feel more pressured when they are within religious people or when they have to deal with religious people. My point is, if you really want to learn, let's have a peaceful discussion, reason, and you are entitled to your views and beliefs, just as I am to mine, let's give some respect and learn each others perspectives. But most often it seems the atheists are only interested in one way debate, and are only willing to force their views on you, and hence I feel sorry for them. If they were so content with what they believe in the least they can do is chill and move on and be happy with what they believe in, unless they lack some serious confidence, and if you think it's good then you don't have to force it on people, but unfortunately they do, and hence they disprove of how intellectual, rational or even "better" people they are.

I don't mind people saying things they believe in which contradicts with what I believe, as long as they are also patient to hear what I have to say, and try to understand for a change. It's nothing with laziness, I'd say, just like there are people who believe in One God, or multiple gods, it's just a matter of time when there are people who believe in no god. I would definitely be happy to meet more rational and understanding atheists then the arrogant ones, only then would my discussion with them be of any proper benefit. I have become wiser then to just go on with endless arguments to just placing my views, maybe answer their few key questions, tell them facts why I believe God does exist, produce proofs, and that's it, I can care less for going on with some endless unfruitful arguments.

Lol I'm sorry if I took a bit too much space here, but my dealings with atheists have been lengthy also. Thanks to all those for giving their time and effort in reading my rather long post, peace smile

Alhamdulillah thanks a lot...for reading the post hope Insha'Allah it was helpful, and thanks for the compliments, yea I liked the quotes too, so I use them on my signature lol. Also that site is managed by the Islamic international speaker Sheikh Yusuf Estes, a former Christian revert to Islam, Alhamdulillah, so I know it's pretty well explained in a nut shell, Alhamdulillah.
