"Only by our kids," Faolan chuckled, looking up at her with his own playful grin.

Ellandra continued rocking her tinyy daughter, but that small, mischevious grin never left her face. "That wouldn't be a problem - Ziazan and Rhian know enough to stay away themselves, and they could help keep these little ones occupied," she said as she stroked the dusting of hair that lay on Bel's head - of a color that was hard to define as of yet.
Rhian peeked out of the bedroom a little more, blue eyes inquisitive and antennae flicking. "A house? How's that different than the vardo?" She just couldn't keep her questions to herself any longer. The flutterby was quite thoroughly distracted now, and curiousit had totally overtaken her.

Faolan scooted around to look at the Essentic. "It'll be bigger than th' vardo an' stationary. We wonnae be movin' about anymore." He looked up at Elle. "I'll build you a house as soon as th' land is ready fae it. I promise."

Rhian tilted ehr head and blinked. "Oh, so like Mister Elst-plant's home is?" That's what it s sounded like anyway. "Um. . . okay, so I'll just go back and wait some more," she said, ducking back out of the room as quickly as she'd peeked in. She didn't want to interrupt any more, after all.
Ellandra rose to her feet, shifting Bel to one arm and offeringa hand to Faolan to help him up as well. "Mmm. . . .could there be a flower garden?"

"Rhian, you can come out here an' talk wi' us, too," Faolan chuckled, shaking his head at the offered hand and getting up on his own. He leaned down and kissed Bel's forehead gently, not wanting to wake her, then looked up at Ellandra again. "We can hae any kinda garden you want."

At tht, Rhian peeked out again and tilted her head. "You're . . .sure?" She asked, before stepping out of the backroom and taking her little sister from her mother, humming a soft, nonsensical little tune under her breath as she stared down at the tiny human baby - something complete and wonderful, something she'd never quite be, no matter how she grew and learned. There was just something. . . special. . . about this tiny little human, something special and unique that Rhian could never hope to have.
Ellandra's face broke broke from the small, mischevious smile to an outright beaming one, bright and glowing. Without the baby in her arms, she was free to wrap them around Faolan and kiss him, hugging him close and sighing softly nearly all at once. "I wonder. . . . do you think we could talk to Elst about what flowers togrow? Oh - are there any you're allergic too, Faolan, s I'd know to avoid those? Because it would be so nice to just have. . . . so many, many flowers, all around. . . ."

"I'm only allergic t' bananas and avocados," Faolan said, encircling his wife in his arms. "Might even ask him about helpin' some trees t' grow so th' kids can have swings and stuff t' climb on." He looked over at Rhian and smiled at her. "You look a wee puzzled, lass, about your little sister."

Rhian blinked and looked up at Faolan. "Oh, umm... just. . . . human babies are so . . . different, I guess. they don't really know anything when they're little, do they?" Bel shifted in Rhian's arms, not really waking up, just moving, and sucked on her lower lip, creating a 'hsshsshss' sound. Pausing for a moment, the flutterby's eyes lit up as a thought popped into her head. "Oooh, trees? And what's a swing? Will there be pretty birds there like there are at Mister Elst-plant's? If not, could we get some to have?"
Ellandra blinked; she was the confused one now. "Birds?" she echoed, then tilted her head up to look at Faolan with a smile. "Oh, it would be wonderful to have some fruit trees, like apple and cherry trees. . . ." As she thought more on the idea of what might be in store for their family, flowers began to snake through Ellandra's hair for only the second time in herlife, so thrilled was she with the entire idea and all of the prospects tied to it.

Faolan moved to sit in the rocking chair. "Should be able t' start buildin' soon. Da's got some men out lookin' now t' get it set up fae houses." He looked up at his wife. "Your hair's growin' again." He probably should've been more surprised by the sudden flowers in Elle's hair than he was, but he'd learn to roll with the punches pretty well around Farstep.

Ellandra blinked. "Is it? she asked, and wandered over into Fao's lap - hoping that the rocking chair would hold up under the weight of two adults. "Well. . . I know that Verdant um, I think he said the word "blooms?" when he's very happy. . . . maybe it's the same with me, I'm not sure. We'll have to ask him sometime," she said sighing contently and just enjoying the atmosphere of their little home.
Somewhat reluctantly, Rhian placed Bel into her bassinet and started for the door. "I think I'm going to take a walk. Bye Mama, Faolan."

"Donnae stay out late, me darlin'," Faolan told Rhian, hugging and nuzzling his dear wife. Little happy noises escaped his throat as he nipped little kisses along Elle's cheek, neck, and shoulder. "I think th' bloomin's nice. Smells pretty."

Rhian nodded and headed out, not sure where she'd go other than away from the overly-affectionate parents. Maybe she'd find Lauss-teacher again, that would certainly help . . .
Ellandra squeaked as Fao nipped at her, but smiled and snuggled closer. "It's been making me wonder what else I might be able to do that I couldn't before, now that I'm blooming. . . perhaps we shuld find out?"

Ellandra thought for a long, long moment. Then finally, her face lighting up with a blush that reached the tips of her ears, she nodded. "All right. . . . once. But if I don't like it, not again. Deal?"

"I ain't ever had any complaints before," Faolan laughed, standing up and lifting Elle easily in his arms. He carried her to the bedroom, shutting the door with his heel.
