You don't know just how forgetful I am Tenaku. I was in school the other day trying to remember the name of this movie and I couldn't. And we'd been talking about it for a while now. It's pretty sad...

Saknika You don't know just how forgetful I am Tenaku. I was in school the other day trying to remember the name of this movie and I couldn't. And we'd been talking about it for a while now. It's pretty sad... Yup that is sad.

The only exposure to that movie I have had is:
a) A trailer played on The Daily Show
b) My friend's obsession with it
c) Team America where they spoof it by singing the lyrics: "Aids, aids, aids, everyone's got...AIDS!"

Hmmm, I saw the play before I saw the movie and I have to say it ruined the movie for me. The play was just so....wow and involving and just so amazing. By comparassion, the music for the movie was weird sounding and it just wasn't the play. It wasn't as engaging as the play and the songs had been changed. The characters were too old and some things just didn't work in the movie. I have to say, I like the way the Tango Maureen was handled in the movie though ^_^ And I adored Angel's costumes in the movie, but alas, Happy New Year A and B were cut from the song list and that made me sad. *sniff* Plus, Maureen and Joanne weren't as bickering and they didn't really have the whole fighting quality of their relationship down as well.

Actually, they're doing a national tour now, so i'm just hoping that it comes here sometime soon...

Haha, I have many things for Rent book marked including lj communities among others. It makes you...devoted! not a nerd. That's like my obsession with logo (a recently developed obsession) and having many websites that I can log into. Logging in to sites is mindless and it helps me relax when I'm stressed. Wow, that sounds weird outloud.

Its the best movie ever! I memorized the soundtract. All of it, the one from the play though. i can't wait to see the play.
