Out of the Final Fantasy's I've played, 8 is definately my favorite. I love it because the storyline deviates from the usual ones. It focuses on romance more than the world ending, which made it really fun to play. Final Fantasy 7 in my opinion IS the greatest game of all time, but not my favorite Final Fantasy.

FF8 is the geratest story in a game but i have the most fun playing FFX and FFX-2

I must say that FF8 is very romantic and I loved it, although FF9 was very good and Im thinking of playing it again to beat it 100%.

Eh, I've only played FFX and FFVII, and I haven't beaten either yet...but they're both really awesome. =D

I myself cannot play FF to save my soul. But, I watch my friends play it all the time. My favorite so far is either X or X-2. I believe I've seen VII being played too and I liked that one. But, definitely X or X-2

My fav ff is FFX just cause the scenes are awesome and the storyline is great^^ I also like ffX-2 and FFVII

The best Fianl Fantasy every would have to be 7 because it was the steping stone that made the other ones possible. It revelutionized rpg gaming the world over. You'd have to have been there when it first came out. Also FFX-2 was a joke an utter disgrace to the Final Fantasy Legacy, because FF is not supposed to have sequels!!!! scream
