Iyasu heistated for a moment before she continued with her question, "Sensei, which form of dance do you think is more prominent in the festivals?" She began to chew on her inner lower lip out of nervous habit. She felt she was stepping out of her bounds a little bit, however the teacher would tell if would be doing so.
**Just letting you all know, finals for my college are this week and next. So, it might take me longer to respond. Sorry about that x.x**

Sayuri smiled. "Wonderful question, though that is not really my specialty. I feel sure that we will deal with festivals of geisha in later lessons, but that might be a question you would reserve for Kyoku-sensei," Sayuri replied.

Yokome jotted down many notes as the teacher wrote. See didn't have any questions, for everything seemed quite clear.

Sayuri stood at the front of the room before posting the grades upon a wall and tapping her fan in her hand.
"I was very happy with a few of you, though the rest of the class disappointed me greatly. If you do not participate in this class, then I cannot proceed to teach you any further. I was lenient on my grading this time, but next time I will not be so friendly," Sayuri warned, her tapping coming to a sudden halt.
"Your marks reflect on your participation. I should have failed those of you who refused to take any notes at all," Sayuri warned, her eyes glancing towards Kitsune-chan. "I know next time that you will not make the same mistakes. Sorry to interrupt our second lesson, but I must say that I wanted everyone to know how they were doing so far. Please continue to excel, those of you who are kind enough to oblige my request. As for the rest of you, I will provide extra credit tests for you to take to help bring up your grades."
Sayuri nodded her head towards her class after her harsh scolding. "Now, you may come to look at your grades and we will continue your lesson afterwards."

((OOC: The grades are done according to how many posts everyone has during a lesson. Lesson 1...D = 0 posts other than to say that you wanted to be part of the class....C=1 post....B=2 or more posts....A+= excelled in # posts with great content!
To help up your grades in this class, I'll hold pop quizzes...which you can look in the first lesson POSTS to find. These include questions that other students asked. If you answer these correctly, your Lesson 1 grade will be averaged with you pop quiz grade. They are not required, but are merely for those who don't want their grade to be lower.))

Yokome had no clue she had to participate like that in class and ask questions. Now that she was sure she could get an A+ after the next lesson because now she knew what to do!

((OOC: Preferably more than 2. I just looked at the amount of posts everyone else was making. A B is a fine grade to make. The only people who need to take pop quizzes are D or lower. XP
Being a part of a class means posting. I figured for the first lesson, a few weeks was enough time to chime in and write more notes or something. The only reason the one girl got a D was b/c she never even tried to rp in the class.))

She jotted down her notes with emphasis on certain parts before looking up to Sayuri-san. Sensei announced that grades from the first lesson were posted in the back (also, with few disappointing words as well). Iyasu shook her head dark haired head and looked over to Sayuri to see if she could see her grade, or if the lesson was going to continue. She decided it would be best to keep her questions til the end of the lesson.

Momoko quickly wrote down everything that was said and looked over the material before asking a question. She wanted to make sure she didn't make herself sound foolish.
