He sits his cup down. the faint mumble of mino's voice was louder then his normal faint mumble "right. how often would you see Mr. Katenuchi?"serina staired at julious. she couldnt believe how casually he was sayin their father's name.

"Besides at school, not that often. Some times he would call me over since he has books that i like to read."
Mino stood looking at Julius serious, with the tone to match.

"Well, whenever he found a new book that he knew would interest me, or whenever i finished reading them. It would change alot. Sometimes it might be once or twice every week, and sometimes it might be once a month."
Mino knew this was getting nowhere, but he had to keep answering.

She looks at him then looks back at julious who took another sip of his iced tea. he then smiles. "you may go now if you wish. sorry about that, the job requires me to do it

Mino stood up.
"Don't worry, i understand. Just hurry and catch who did it."
Mino started walking away, but kept speaking, not caring if Julius and his sister heard him or not.
"Cause if i catch him, im gonna be the one who you're gonna have to arrest"
Mino walked out the door and started walking home.

Mino got home a half-an-hour later. Exhausted, he went to the kitchen and got himself some water.
"Hmm?"
Mino noticed something on his table, something that wasn't there before. It was an envelope, but it looked old. There were some tear marks in it, and....
"Blood?"
Mino grabbed the envelope and looked at it, debating whether he should open it. 'Its probably a little joke someone played on me, and i forgot to throw it away'
Mino opened the letter and started reading, a few seconds later, his eyes widened. A mixture of emotions was pouring throughout his entire body.
"This cant be....what kind sick joke is this"
The signature, there was no doubt about it, it was Makoto Katenuchi's signature. No one could've copied it so perfectly. The thing that was most bizarre was the date, it listed October 9.
"Today's October 9...."
Mino didn't know what to think anymore. Katenuchi died October 2, that was a week ago. He couldn't have sent this, it was silent for a few minutes. Two hours passed Mino wouldn't stop reading the letter, then......
*CRASH*
Mino jumped.
"What...the"
His window, somebody broke his window. But when Mino looked around, there was no object that could've been thrown. He stuck his head out the window. Mino saw someone walking, he was wearing a hoodie.
"HEY!!"
Mino yelled at him, but he kept walking, he got closer to a wall. IT was dark out, and the shadows were enveloping the figure. Mino yelled at him once more, but then he suddenly vanished.
"Dammit...."
Mino started picking up the glass pieces on the floor and covered the window with a fan. He looked at the sofa where the letter was and grabbed it. He walked out his door and walked to Julius's place. When he arrived, he knocked on the door.

Serina was in the kitchen cooking, herself and Julious some food, when someone knocked on the door. She walked to the door and opened it. "yes?"

"I need to speak to your brother. Its about your father."
Mino was in a hurry, he didn't have time to explain.
