"She is pregnant?" Was pregnant? Tiegan wondered if she'd already heard this. Before last night, she would have heard it and barely thought about it, but now...

Was that on purpose or accidental?

"That's just weird." She muttered. Rested back. But then again, it wasn't weird, because they were both old enough now to experiance it. "I don't want to become pregnant. Ever."

"Yeah," he said. "Or was. It was awhile ago, so she might've...uh, yeah." There were some things that were uncomfortable even to think about, let alone say out loud. This stuff was right up there.

"Might have, yeah." Tiegan agreed. She was pretty understanding of what he was doing his best to not word and had to agree that she too didn't really need to think about it at the moment. She'd made sure it wouldn't happen to her too and that was all that mattered.

"But anyway." Tiegan was looking at the can which was still full. She stood up slowly and headed for the ladder after all. "I can't eat it. Maybe I'll just get a sandwich... a little one..."

She started to climb and pushed at the thing. Then again. And again.

"Can you push it open?"

"Yeah, sure." Rising to his feet - ugh, why did doing anything have to hurt? - Mik waited for her to get off the ladder so that he could climb up and have a try. It didn't want to budge when he pushed it, either.

"Dammit," he muttered to himself, and tried again. Nope.

"We've both been in the wars." Tiegan muttered. They both walked like the injured near dead... or at least, his face had briefly looked that way, and she FELT that way, so it was good enough an idea.

She stood back and watched. Her stomach grumbled.

"That's strange. It opened before." She muttered. Tiegan refused to believe it was stuck. "Maybe it has a latch somewhere."

"You'd think we could open a door, though," he griped, holding his knife up to it so that he could see better. "No, I don't see a latch." The angel hit it again.

"Well..." She moved closer, climbing up beside him on the side of the ladder, very careful to avoid getting too close in case she bumped his sore torso, and prodded at it. "Hm. What if..."

Tiegan chewed her lip and tried another way. Did it come down? No. It went upwards.

"Well... that didn't work either."

She glanced around for a window. No windows.

H-Hey! Who'd invited her to come up here? Mikhail's second pair of wings twitched as he did his best to ignore it. She was totally in his personal space. "Give me some room, would you?"

Not just because he didn't like that she was so close, though; he was going to try a little more force.

"Ah, yeah." She climbed back down and stood back against a dusty wall, watching, arms crossed. Tiegan was a bit edgy now. She almost felt like telling him off for telling HER off to back off, when she was trying to help, but she bit her lip and stayed quiet. Broken ribs were painful. She'd probably be nervous about close contact too.

Mikhail moved up the ladder until his shoulder was a few inches away from the door, head ducked and wings lowered. This was definitely on the lsit of things he probably shouldn't be doing, but it wasn't like they had any alternatives. After taking an uncomfortably deep breath, he slammed his shoulder up against the jammed door.

Unfortunately, all it did was hurt like hell.

Ow!

She cringed FOR him. That had looked painful and what was worse, if it hadn't worked...

So what if they were trapped out here?

"You okay?" She asked and stared at him, concerned. Tiegan could do that. "Here. I'll try it if you climb down."

Yeah, that had been a bad idea. He immediately regretted trying. He stayed still for a moment, eyes closed and teeth clenched until the pain subsided some. He climbed back down the ladder, saying quietly, "Yeah. Fine."

Yeah. Tiegan didn't believe him but she went to her bag instead of arguing to pull out her flip knife.

Maybe the edges were just jammed. She just needed to wedge it out a bit.

She climbed up the ladder and started to bend the knife, trying to wedge it open, slow and careful. Tiegan really didn't want the knife to snap... that would be painful. She pressed her shoulder on the door as she tried.

"It opened before." She muttered to herself.

"Careful," he warned, watching warily as she tried to wedge the door open with her knife. He actually edged out of the way a little, just in case. That didn't look like the best knife to be using for something like wedging a door open.

Mikhail was very particular about his knives.

"I didn't bring any other ones." Tiegan muttered. She was careful, really careful, having a liking for this knife. She wished she'd had it on her when she had to deal with Ra. For a second, she was suddenly picturing his face, concentration snapping.

The knife naturally snapped, rebounding into her arm, making her nearly fall off the ladder. Tiegan gritted her teeth this time and refused to make a sound, instead, calmly climbed down with one hand and her legs. Went over to her bag. Sat down. Rummaged for something to press against where the blade was now ******** Ra. Had to screw up her knife too.

"Okay. Bad idea." She admitted, finally, when she could finally unclench her teeth enough. Tiegan was embarrassed beyond belief, besides being in pain, and a bit concerned. Just a bit. It looked deep. She decided to leave it in there just in case. "Other ideas?"
