I definitely wouldn't say it was the best ICP album out there, but it was still pretty good. Actually a lot of the cheesiness DID remind me of the ol' joker cards. rofl Nice connecting it to pokemon. Totally didn't think of that. I think it's kind of an elitist thing when juggalos and lettes bring up how the old joker cards were so awesome and how ICP is sounding softer and such. I don't really think it's fitting for a juggalo to be acting all "ima better than you" to all the new folks. They're fam, so what if they're new. Most of them have joined the fam cos of the joker cards. No sh!t the old joker cards are awesome. We all know that. Doesn't mean that everything after that has to be cookie cutter. I like that they're exploring other sides of their music. I like that they're coming out with new music period. But I guess if the creators of our favourite CDs and record label aren't good enough, then there is always Twiztid. They're doing really f*cking well with bringing the wicked sh!t. Although I've heard tons of "fam" complain up a storm about them too lately. There's too much hate going on now. It saddens me.

its not an 'elitist' thing bro. listen to the jokers cards, and hell, why not some of the FF's. And ICP in Lotus. Its kinda hard to be wicked when you're 35, have a full family, and no longer have to work much for your money. And yes, Twiztid is still to this day doing an amazing job

and btw - speaking ones opinions doesn't make them an 'elitist', just cuz the newer juggalos like the calm and after s**t

They have different lives, but that doesn't make them different people. All of that still came from their minds. I'm not saying that saying one's opinion in general is being elitist, it's how you say it. For example, when you say "I really miss the old days. Like the Joker's Cards era. Great times. Not so many sheep a** juggalos around then" right after your review of the CD, that's giving younger or newer juggalos and lettes an insult.

Of course nothing is going to be like the joker's cards ever again. I just don't see the point in comparing them to/complaining about everything that's going to come out after.

about your first statement. most of these 'newer/younger' juggalos are fake as s**t. and props to the very few real ones. its gotten to the point where Violent J is finally saying s**t after years of saying that he knows nothing about whats happening with the juggalo nation: 'some scream juggalo, only when it's convenient, although they dont mean it. we're sick of being lenient'

about your second statement. are you kidding me? the lyrics were soooooo much better then. look at how great ringmaster was for its time. look at riddlebox. and the bizzars, and when shangri-la told all, and hell's pit's deep lyricism. and the joker's cards told a great message. Calm was the worst thing they ever put out and even warned juggalos that something different was gonna happen, even said something about samurai (old school ninjas) some of us didnt like. and 'Off the Track' seemed to have that kinda meaning as well. Then there was Tempest. Suddenly the storm was actually a roller coaster that had nothing to do with anything yet it gets tracks like 'Ride the Tempest' like its something importaint. It had no real meaning. The verses weren't that great and the choruses were worse. Eye of the Storm doesn't exist to me. lol. And then Bang Pow Boom. 'The return of the Dark Carnival'. You mean it left? Shaggys verses on it were good. Violent J tried way too hard. Great concept, good message, but J's game is not up there anymore and most of the choruses were annoying to listen to.
benefit of the doubt - Writing Hell's Pit ******** up J's mind to the point that it took this long to put out a Dark Carnival like album. I think this is a test for himself and I think that J still has the potential in him (listen to Opaque Brotherhood for that reason) and I'm looking forward to the future

Read what I said again about the Joker's Cards. I said of course nothing was going to be like them ever again. I like The Tempest, but I do agree that they just kind of threw that in there. As for the whole statement about newer/younger juggalos. I know a number of them, and all of them are REAL. What I believe he's talking about are just fake juggalos in general, like the people at The Gathering that were throwing sh!t likes maglite flashlights at people and stuff. Or for example, I watch this one juggalo's videos on youtube named MilenkoSeed. The first show he went to was for The Tempest. When he was there, he was moving through the crowd and excusing himself, and when he tried to get by this one dude, the guy pushed him. So he said, "Dude, come on, isn't there any clown love?", to which the guy replied, "No clown love here." Now that pretty much goes against everything a juggalo is, to do and say that. I don't think it matters WHEN somebody started listening to the music and calling themselves a juggalo, as much as it has to do with the quality of the juggalo. When I started dating my girlfriend, she slowly became a lette cos of all the psychopathic music I introduced her to. Now that doesn't mean she's going to be sh!tty cos she's fairly new to the fam. I guess it all comes down to parenting. If you're a lo or lette and you get a friend into the music and they want to start calling themselves fam, then you should teach them about it. Teach them what they should know, how to treat fam, etc. My guess is that all of the fakies either didn't have a proper mentor or was introduced to it by another f*ckhead. But I really truly believe that it has nothing to do with how new they are.

@ Miss Potter O_o That is amazing that you survived that long in that school. Dang. I could NOT take that. I like to challenge guys like that that think they're hardass sh!t and watch the look on their faces and their reactions. lol

dude. all it takes for a fake to claim is for the weed that fam will pass em and the fact that their chances of getting laid will increase. sad but true. and that 'no clown love here' s**t is ******** up. someone should've made that dude's day hell

So does anybody actually believe that the Dark Carnival actually exists? I know it does, I keep having these strange dreams about it, and I even sensed its presence in my room.

Well, no matter which way you look at it, it exists. Whether in your mind or as a fictional place. So yeah, it's real.

Yeah but I see it in my mind, and I feel its presence, its everywhere, its out there.

I'm not entirely sure the Dark Carnival itself exists. Maybe. But mainly I think they were using that as a symbol. But who knows? Could very well exist. And Skitso sensing the presence of his room? That's some crazy s**t man. Then again, it could just be that he's a Skitso. xd Just kidding. But yeah, I've heard about stories of people sensing other spirits and stuff. It's possible.

J did say that somethin visited him way back in the day, that clown spirit, and the vision of the Dark Carnival. ( Read Behind the Paint and you'll see what I mean)

I'm asking other people, if they think its real and it actually exists, 'cause you know how skeptical people can be, they might think youre either crazy or on drugs.

I'm an atheist and a skeptic, but I do feel like it's real. When I think of the dark carnival or listen to any of the old joker cards, I get this special feeling. A feeling I haven't felt for a long time... It makes me feel like how I'd feel around Christmas or Halloween. That magical feeling that you only feel when you're little and innocent (or not so much, depending.) So, in a nutshell, yes, I do believe it exists.

For every person, the Carnival comes to 'em in different ways, such as with me I have dreams and visions about it, and I felt its presence in my room. The experiences differ with each person. Then again I've had alot of weird s**t happen to me, alot of weird s**t that you just can't understand or comprehend.
