Maybe look like Remu, but... you know... obviously a female. She could be a cute shinigami. whee If, you know, it's even possible to be a shinigami and be cute... Well... Ryuuku is cute when he goes all twisted up and stuff. he also is when hes chibi whee Oh yes! How could I forget! The cutest thing would be chibi Ryuuku surrounded by giant apples! if i had any drawing skillz i would make a picture like that... but.. argh i suck at drawing Same crying I should start to practice drawing chibi Ryuuku soon... and chibi version of the rest of the Death Note characters... then I could draw wierd little chibi Death Note comics... bwahaha. Like... Mello just walking up to Light and hitting him over the head and knocking him out... >> Or something else. I don't know.

Hehehee, I would pay good money to see that. you could find your own style of drawing, like Kuroineko on deviantart http://kuroineko.deviantart.comand do your comics that way. She does like finger puppet strips, but they're so good! Just goes to show your drawing style doesnt need to be right on the mark like Obata-sensei's.

That picture drawn by Obata actualy makes me think that Raito does turn to a Shinigami.. And if that is true it would make sence knowing that tward the beginning of the manga when Ryuuku tells Raito that he was well on his way to being a Shinigami or was it that he would be a good Shinigami... I don't know
But it does make sence for raito to be a Shinigami.
Although I would like to see L, Ruuzaki, to come back though. I wonder if L will ever come back.
I have only read to the 50th chapter but I can imagine L having to do something with what Ryuuuku said in the begining of the manga... something about two chosen ones... If L is the other... then he will be back I do believe....

I really wanna find out if *you know who* is actually dead! it would be a shame if he really was- or if he was just pretendin or whatever or if it really didn't kill him he could give orders in secret and still be my favorite ALIVE character!!!

I mean... his name on the Death Note was never shown, Light did check... oh and the corpse was never shown. Then there was now Watari died first. The two hours that passed. Lot of open questions which have been discussed several times.
I believe it was stated by the creator that L was dead for sure though.

Perhaps with the death of Light wink *hopes* possibly misa? meh? who thinks shell die, i mean with 1/4 of her life left.... cool and she hasnt been involved that much in the second arc whee she'll be all "but raito why dont you remember me" *glompage* in her shinigaminess cool i cant wait to see raitos face after that cool I'd much rather see Light die then Misa... but I do bet Misamisa would make a cute shinigami. Remu isn't obviously one even though she is one, there's no part of her that looks obviously female.

Say. I'm probably being a slow moose here, but didn't Raye Penber use the Death Note too?
I just barely realized it when I re-read the second volume.
And in one panel, it kind of looked like one of his fingertips was brushing against the paper's surface as he wrote, so if that was the case, he'd also be able to see Ryukuu.
Though I'm fairly sure Raito was in another subway car (thing) at the time. @ _@

Hey i only read volume 1&2 but i'm going through this cause i want to know what happpens ^_^ anyway have they figured out that way to kill Shinegami, yet? Becuase maybe the user of a death note becomes a Shinegami and the Shinegami that poses that person dies.
