Zaine held the palm up and released a blast of reiatsu that cleared a gap through the flames, allowing him to pass through unharmed, "Then get serious!" he shouted as he jumped and slashed at Kasen.

Zaine smiled darkly as the lightning surrounded him, "Very well if that is you wish." Just as the Hado reached him his voice was heard saying this, "Bear you fangs and howl, Za Shotou Ookami." With those words, a blinding light came into existence, consuming all around it with its brilliance.

Zaine's already considerable reiatsu level spiked, and the light died almost as suddenly as it had been born, revealing an unscathed Zaine holding two blades in his hands, the left blade was ivory, depicting an black wolf sitting by a lake view, howling at the sky. The left blade was black as pitch and depicted a pristine, white she-wolf running through a field, the designs of these blades were breathtakingly realistic, and seemed to move on their own, even at rest.

Zaine smirked, "So then this is your shikai, it does look familiar." he then shook his head and stated, "The elements, be it earth, water, wind, fire or any others, cannot exist without the others. A breeze can either fuel a fire, or snuff it out, Water without heat would freeze and become immobile, and what is fire but heat given visible form? On the other hand, water will extinguish any flame, but it will evaporate and become part of the air itself. Fire can be born of wood, which is of nature and the earth itself, and it can easily be smothered with those very things. Water can erode stone, but stone can block water, wind is the same, it can be halted by earth or it can break it down. From these four elements, all others are birthed, aside from Light and Dark, these can exist without fire, water, wind, or earth. But without light, how would we know darkness, and without darkness we would be blinded by the light." Zaine said this as Kasen made his descent, a small smile danced upon his face, "This is true balance, too much or too little and all elements would cease to be."

Zaine smiled lightly, "Yes and no, I say this with the meaning of yes I do believe my Zanpakutoh represents me, at least as of this moment for you see, My spirits and I both are incomplete, and are smaller parts that make a greater whole. In the same breath I do not belive my spirits to be me, they are themselves and themselves alone." Zaine brought his left blade, the ivory sword, up as Kasen launched the flames, "Dance on the breeze and slice." he commanded softly, slashing through Kasen's flames and sending a blade of wind at him, its sharpness equal to any blade. "And as to who I am, part of the fun of living is finding the answer to that very question."

Zaine quickly traced the tip of his blade on the ground around him, creating a circle that drew the air into it, creating a column of highly concentrated air around himself, waiting until the arrows had fired Zaine muttered, "Expand." The column rapidly flew out in the form of a bubble, connecting with the arrows before they reached dangerous proximity to Zaine. "Quite demanding today aren't you?" Zaine stated dryly, sending three consecutive wind blades at Kasen.

"How can I see when you remove the light?" Zaine returned just as the darkness envoloped him once more. "Now who is getting repetative?" he asked aloud with a chuckle, waiting for his opponent to make his move.

( I cant do much with that post lol, from my understanding I have no way to possibly know of the attack, plus the arrows will continously fire, Perhaps I am misunderstanding it.)
