"You can not be serious..." Arianna said with an arched eyebrow as Tristan return to their base. "We must have patience," he replied stoically.
"This entire time you have been pressing the issue that our time has grown short...and now you wish to wait?" she countered
"My former plans are of no use, They will have him soon enough." Tristan replied as he seated himself on a fallen pillar.
"And then he will be our enemy as well." she shot back disdainfully.
"I have waited centuries for this opportunity to present itself. We can wait a short while longer if need be!" He exclaimed. From across the expanse of the room Arianna crossed her arms and looked away.
Tristan had noticed a change in her demeanor of late, it was getting more difficult to control her, she no longer followed without question... Just as he had less than a century ago, she to would awaken to become what she had once been, and then they would be of equal power. Indeed this would aid their cause, that is... if Atropos didn't first kill him first for his insubordination, Tristan thought grimly to himself.

~In a forest far to the north, at the base of a volcano, there was a village. This village was hidden however. Hidden from all who would pass through its borders. If one did not already know where it was, they would never find the village. In the umbrella of the treetops, perched on a branch and gazing down at those who were once his allies, Azure had been prepared to pounce. His blade drawn and his eyes fixed on one location....the citadel in the center of the village. The bloodshed that would befall this village was not one of vengeance, but one that reflected the very code that the inhabitants lived by. Death to all turncoats. There would be no mercy.~

~From his position, Azure watched the guards on patroll make report with their captain. She was dressed in a uniform that was noticably different from the others. It did not take long for them to speak and be dismissed. As they broke off into their patrol, Azure stood from his perch and leapt into the air, landing silently below. Azure began to sneak his way passed the courtyard, following the woman with silence and caution.
Once she arrived at what seemed to be a checkpoint to another area, Azure hid behind another building and listened intently as his target conversed with the gatekeeper. She had warned him of an intruder’s presence and proceeded through the gate. There were only two guards stationed at this particular gate. One of them stood the gate watch, while the other roved the area. Azure reached toward his leg and pulled a single knife from its holster. As the Roving Sentry approached the Stationary, he peeked out from behind the building and launched the knife at his partner. Cold steel and crimson were all that befell him, as his body fell limp and impacted with the ground. As expected, the Stationary Sentry was alerted to his associate’s death and rushed to investigate, not a wise decision. Once he reached the corpse he met with a similar fate, as his ability to speak was severed from his body. Azure then made his way through the gate and continued his pursuit. Once he located his target, the real hunt began.
The area behind the gate was a forest of some sort. The trees were dead, and there were fewer sentries than the stronghold itself. There was a single trail that originated from the gate, and split off in two different directions. One path lead to a large building, a citadel, and the other lead to a pier. This was the perfect opportunity to ambush his target; however, there was something more to this forest than met the eye. He could sense the presence of the other sentries, and studied their movements. The area was possibly overrun with hidden traps and the like. Once fatal mistake could end this mission, and failure was not an option. He continued to follow his target, using the wind to mask his presence. As he followed he noticed that the target’s movements began to hasten.~
Woman in Uniform: What’s this wind? (hears a branch crackle) What the…Is somebody there? (the wind continues to blow gently) This wind is disturbing. It must be him. (one of the traps is sprung and she ducks out of the way) Dammit. He’s close. I can feel it.
Sentry: Madam Miho! There is no response from the guardhouse. They’ve been AWOL for some time now.
Miho: So it IS him. They said he would retaliate if he survived.
Sentry: Your orders ma’am.
Miho: Find him and bring him to me alive.

Name: Nataziya Age: 36 Race: Human Sin or Virtue: Sin - Wrath Weapons: A Glaive. Something like a hooked spear, but somewhat of the opposite of a scythe Glaive Reference
History: It has always been Nataziya's gift to be able to see those who lurk among the humans, and it's a gift she tried to rid herself of many times by means of Tibetian blessings, baptisms, exorcisms, and other tactics. After fifteen years of fighting her gift, she gave in and accepted it, albeit reluctantly when she attempted and failed at committing suicide. Zi now allies herself with those from the other realm, repulsed as she may be, for reasons unknown to even herself. A self-described 'strong, silent type', Nataziya is very selective with her words, thus when she speaks them, they are always with direct meaning. She is one without direction, without emotional ties, and without patience. It seems as though she moves hastily due to fear of running out of time.....for what exactly is another mystery.

Miho found herself sprinting back to her tower as the screams in the forest grew silent. The sentries patrolling the forest were nowhere to be found, and the wind that taunted her was slowly becoming more violent. She finally reached the doors to the one place she would hope to find sanctuary; she came to a halt as the guards, her elite, greeted her.
Elite Guard: Welcome home, ma’am. You don’t look so good today.
Miho: (panting) I think…he is after me. Make sure everyone stays on the alert.
Elite Guard: And if we encounter the trespasser?
Miho: I don’t care what the elders says anymore. When you find him, kill him. I want proof of his death. I don't care what.
Elite Guard: As you wish ma'am.
Once Miho finished her statement, she received the distinct pleasure of witnessing the deaths of her elite. The guard found that his speech and vision had been impaired as three throwing knives found their way into his cornea, and his Adam’s apple. Before his body could hit the ground, Miho screamed out in pain as her shoulder was suddenly impaled with an additional throwing knife. She made no attempt to lay eyes on her assassin, as she entered the tower. Once she was inside, two of her elite bolted the door as she fled up the stairs. They noticed a peculiar mist about the chamber as they latched the final bolt on the door. As they looked around in confusion, the flames that provided the light in the chamber suddenly shifted in color, from their normal shade of orange, to a deep blue which in turn expelled the light from the chamber, leaving only an icy chill and a bitter darkness about the chamber.
Elite Captain: Stay alert. He’ll be through here.
Elite Female: Sir, this mist…These flames…I don't think he'll go down too easily.
E. Captain: Your job is not to think, it’s to protect the mistress.
E. Female: Yeah I know. But he survived the sniper attack. Is he some kind of....
E. Captain: Enough. Just focus, Soldier!
E. Guard: Hey…the air…is…g-getting…c-c-cold.
“Just as the guard made his statement, his left arm found its way to the floor beneath. His agony was interrupted as he was lifted off of the ground, by some unknown object, which had been impaled through his torso. His body was then launched into the wall. The force in which it impacted left the corpse rooted within a crater if its own silhouette. It was then that they saw him, in all his glory, the assassin that hunted their mistress had revealed himself.”
E. Female: State your business assassin!!!
… (he is surrounded by the Elite)
E. Captain: I don't knwo how you survived but I will not allow you to to reach the mistress.
Stand aside… (unsheathes a gruesome dagger)
E. Female: That blade…
E. Captain: You are in no position to make demands. As you can see, the odds are clearly against you.
~Azure takes up a fighting stance, and the flames grow larger.~
E. Female: I don’t think it will make a difference.
E. Captain: I’ll be the judge of that. Attack!!!

"This is what happens when you wait until the last moment to act Thanatos...things are out of our hands now...not to mention your foolish attempts at manipulation. When this is over you will be punished for your insubordination." Stated the dark haired woman garbed in military dress at Tristan's right. "You know I liked you better when you were no wiser than a human Atropos… Insufferable is to slight a term to define what you have turned into…makes me regret the day I helped you regain your memories."
"And it would be wise to simply keep to our mortal names, Arianna. There are still those that can recall..." He commented decisively.
"Why does it matter?" She parried, as they watched on from within the forest…looking off towards a tower like complex in the distance. “Because…this is not our world anymore.” He countered.
"No…It's theirs…" she finished for him, though Arianna was not speaking of the human population that dominated the world…merely of the group that had taken over she and Tristan’s roles all those centuries ago.
"So do we intend to make a move or are we to wait." Arianna asked impatiently, glancing briefly at Tristan.
"Not much longer…we are only here to observe. There is little we can do to stop what has been preordained…Fate plays little part in Their plans." He answered.
"Then a change is in order…" she replied before her form suddenly disappeared into nothingness, her intention difficult to miss.

Azure had been slowly progressing through the tower as he pursued his target. She had taken shelter in the inner most sanctum of the tower, and soon she would have nowhere to run. As my War god tore through the many elite that barred his path, two guards in particular had been fleeing towards their mistress’s chamber.
E. Female: Did you see what that guy just did? What the hell was that thing?!
E. Captain: How am I supposed to know? I’ve never seen anyone with that kind of power…at least not in real life.
E. Female: So, what are you saying that we’re dealing with some kind of demon?
E. Captain: I’m not saying anything. We just need to get back to Miho. (barges through the door) MIHO! What in the hell?
Miho: YOU IDIOT!!!! I tolf you NEVER to come here!!!
E. Captain: Forgive me mistress, but I have to know what in the hell are we delling with?! THat guy tore through my soldiers as if they were mere peons.
Miho: His name is Azure. He was suppoosed to be dead.
E. Captain: WHAT? The DRragon Child?
E. Female: The what? I am confused.
Miho: Listen carefully. He was one of the Mahara's best assassins...and for one reason or another, the elders want him dead. That is YOur ONLY concern!
E. Captain: How are we supposed to fight a friggin Dragon. He's a goddamn Drtagon for crying out loud.
Miho: Just kill him. It's not that hard.
E. Female: Then I'd like to see YOU step up to the plate. I signed on to kill a man...not a damn mutant.
Miho: Well, its a little too late for complaints.
