Persephone waited for a little longer before starting out... In this desolate are no one would find their bodies. Persephone smirked or at least what would pass as a smirk on her faceless features.
"Come here cubbies..." she laughed darkly as she walked.

Hikaru heard his brother call his name and bounded back toward the voice. His eyes flew open at the sight of his twin buried in snow up to his neck. "Kaoru...I'll get you out hold on!" He pads over and begins digging away as quickly as he can, ignoring the numbness creeping into his paws.
Kaoru breathes deeply seeing his brother reappear, relaxing when he starts to dig the snow away. "Thank you Hikaru..." Does his best to help, squirming to loosen up the snow that covers him, wanting to get out as soon as possible. "Almost..."

"Come out come out wherever you are." she said as she neared the cubs. She couldn't see them in the blizzard but she could feel their fear. It emanated from them like a beacon drawing her to them.

With his brother's squirming around Hikaru finally freed him from the snow, hugging his front paws to his chest in the hopes of getting feeling back into them. "We need to move..." His eyes widened when he spotted something dark a long ways off. A chill ran through him realizing they'd stick out just as much. He nosed his brother, trying to get him to move. He then turned, bit the scruff of his twin's neck, and started dragging him along to move under a large boulder.
Kaoru winced when he felt himself being dragged, but gave in until they moved under the boulder. Once under it he peeked out, spotting the dark speck off in the distance and shuddered, pulling back in. "Your right...we need to get out of this place fast..." He gave his brother a nuzzle, then ran and took off high into the air. "Yo go first, make a run North and I'll get there soon..." Swoops low, flying right at the dark place, fully knowing it was probably that lioness.

Persephone waited, the fear that was calling her separated, She looked toward the one coming closer to her. she laughed as the kitten approached. "courage you may have but it's nothing but fools courage." she laughed waiting for the cubs demand.

Kaoru's eyes flickered with hatred as he swooped in lower, landing in front of the bigger lioness. "You have me to deal with now. Watch yourself..." He bared his fangs at her, claws out as his hackles rose. "I hate you for what you did to us..."

"You child are out classed and outmatched." she laughed taking a menacing step forward. "I will give you one chance to beg for your life and I will kill you quickly." That was about as merciful as she ever got. "good Hate, it makes one stronger." she laughed darkly again as though his threat meant nothing... as far as she was concerned it didn't mean anything she was pure shadow and the daughter of a god.

He lets out the closest thing to a roar a teen lion can as he charges her, aiming to sink his claws and fangs into her shadowy body. He no longer cared what happened to him. Anger had finally boiled and become pure hatred. His body burned as his eyes flared, every inch of his being wanting to kill her.

"But what you don't understand is how to hate and keep your wits about you." she laughed dematerializing into whisps of shadow so the cub would fall right through.
"Foolish foolish boy." she laughed, he was focusing his hate directly at her, and she liked that. But he was still foolish, she would offer him a sort of kindness before he died. Persephone moved in a shadowy manner untill she was behind the little lion.

Growls when he misses her, but catches himself relativly well, pivoting to face her when she re-materializes. "You raped my brother...and made me watch. You beat us to near death. It's hard to not want to tear your jugular from your throat..." Seeths as he gets an idea and slips behind her, his paws gripping her sides.

Persephone dematerializes again her shadowy form yet again though though like whips of smoke the cub can still see her she was a mocking shadow her head turned as the snow blew through her..
"I did do that didn't I but who came looking for us?" she smirked, it was their own fault. They came looking for their own death. "Not many would." Persephone hardened her tail whipping the deadly spiked mace at the cub.

Kaoru spits at her, managing to duck the majority of spikes, not caring if he gets a nick or two. Something inside him broke as his chest tightened with dark emotions. "You keep moving around me...dissapearing when I even touch you. Are you scared I was going to try something...?" A slightly twisted grin forms across his mawl.

Scared, Her? Hardly... She just was enjoying his frustration. "Good boy." she laughed. She was pleased finally, but he still had to remember his place... Persephone circled around the cub once before attacking completely solidifying herself and pinning the teen to the ground with greater strength and speed than the teen would ever know.
"You are still too young to defeat myself child." she cooed gently before revealing her sharp white teeth beneath her black shadowy maw. Persephone bit hard down on the back of the teen's neck and tasted blood...

His emotionless eyes watched her as she became fully solid and felt chills run through him as she circled him, that deep pure darkness for once not scaring him. In fact he felt nothing but darker emotions. Whatever had snapped had buried all but those feelings the dark lioness found good. When he felt her pin him he squirmed a little, but for the most part he let it happen.
"I still have much to learn...I want to learn your darkness..." His voice trailed off, followed by a yip when her teeth sank into the back of his neck. His eyes grew wide for a moment, but the feeling of it began working at him differently.

Ohhhh he wanted to learn about the darkness eh? Persephone smirked "Perhaps...." she paused "I might still have a use for you." She bit harder but not near enough to kill "Tell me does it hurt?" she asked the cub.
