While patience was something that he shared with his mistress, he didn't have the knack of drawing out painful memories and fear from his victims. Instead, he did what he did know well, following the other Fa'e silently in the shadows until he appeared adequately confused.

And then, without a warning growl or any sort of noise, the jaguar dove at Guelmy, teeth bared and claws extended.

Luckily, he didn't go for a kill shot. Mistress wanted him alive, but that didn't mean that he couldn't have his fun, now did it?

Just as Guelherme had been ready to give up on the walking and was going to rest against a wall, glowing for all his flaming worth, a body of fur flew at his face in a fit of aggression. The air left his lungs in a startled whine of breath as he tried to fend away sharp teeth and claws, and nearly fatally failing.

Suddenly this was a very real, dangerous place, and the firey teen had only one way to react - with violence in kind. Shoving at what he was assuming was some sort of large cat, Guelmy frantically tried to gather his will to roast the aggressor. Unfortunately, it was rather hard with a face full of angry kitty.

Oh, he fought back! Kind of...

If a kitty could beam, the jaguar would have. Instead of grinning, he threw his entire weight onto the scaly man. His tail lashed behind him as he attempted to pin the Fa'e down by hitting him upside the head with a paw to daze him. No claws on that hit.

Another strangled grunt sounded in the thick darkness as Guelherme was pressed back to the stone floor along with several hundred fluffy pounds of mean. Somehow, this seemed ridiculously unfair! He'd done nothing other than tag along as support for a friend, and here he was, about to die in the clutches of an angry feline, being smacked in the head to boot!

Mustering all the strength he could, the teen freed a hand just enough to reach up, and smartly yank the long whiskers that were lightly brushing against his skin. If he could startle it enough to hop back, he might actually stand a chance!

The jaguar yowled indignantly at the whisker yanking. What a cheap, underhanded little HUMAN shot! Instead of pushing him away, the jaguar dug his claws into the Fa'e and attempted to throw him to the ground.

This kid on fire was going to pay.

As he felt the claws go into his side, the mboitata Fa'e only had a moment to scream out in pain before everything went black. His head made a sickening cracking sound against the ground, and suddenly the kitty was grappling with a ragdoll of a teenager.

Guelherme was out cold.

He panted for a moment, glaring down at the snake boy before reaching out and taking a long, artful swipe of his claws at the Fa'e's meaty bum. Then, the furry fellow purred a moment before gathering Guelmy by the ankle and dragging him through the twists and turns of the catacombs.

That’s it, the b***h had gone too far.

In a lightning fast move despite his paler nature, Nao reached out and grabbed the machete handle. Unfortunately, the moment he achieved this, Coyol lifted her arm and an invisible force picked him up and slammed him violently up against the wall.

He felt wing bones break, but not only did he refuse to cry out, he still managed to keep a hold of his weapon, barely.

As suddenly as it had occurred, the force disappeared, and he fell hard to the ground, unable to break his fall with his wings, per usual.

Just then, a black jaguar that smelled all too familiar to him appeared dragging the bloody body of his friend. His eyes widened, and he pushed himself to his feet, “You leave him the ******** alone!” He growled at the two of them.

“Why?” She purred, much like her feline conspirator, who dumped the body and returned to his mistress, snarling at the conscious Fa’e. “Your brought him into our secrets, he can handle the consequences.”

“GUELMS!” Naolin yelled as loudly as possible, trying to wake his friend.

Coyol laughed, no cackled, as she made a motion with her fingers and the firey teen suddenly flipped upside down as if someone had him by the marred ankle. “Darling, I think it’s piñata time, don’t you?”

The jaguar purred loudly, and twisted his way over to Guelmy.

GUELMS!

The familiar voice echoed in his aching head, and brought him around somewhat. Naolin? Hadn't they been separated? And what about that cat? Was it all in his head? It could have been a bad hallucination, but the searing pain in his back, sides, and ankle suggested otherwise. There was no way there would be such radiant pain from a fall and knock on the head!

Opening his green eyes experimentally, he almost shut them again instantly. The cat was there, along with some strange woman and what looked like a half-dead Naolin. Things were not at all as they had expected to find them, and it was getting worse by the moment!

Considering his options, Guelherme could think of only one thing, and even then, it wasn't entirely guaranteed to work. Breathing deeply, he tried with all his metaphysical strength to push his fire outwards, starting with the ball around his neck. However, the only result was a vibrant pulsing of the glass and light within. What had started as a sneak attack, only brought scrutiny to a boy who wanted nothing else to do with any of this!

The use of magic caught the sorceress' attention immediately, and with a beckoning movement of her index finger, the cord that the ball was tied to snapped and the whole necklace zoomed into her free hand. "What is this Dirty Blood?" She asked the serpent Fa'e, examining the flame that glowed in the glass ball. This was a different sort of magic than she knew.

Naolin took the oppertunity of distraction and threw himself at his sister, ignoring the pain of his unnaturally dangling wings. He managed to reach her with time to tackle her, sending them both to the ground. The rough scarring of her arm holding Guelmy's ball hit first, and immediately ripped apart and slid along the grimy stone floor.

Consequently, Guelms also met them on a different section of the ground.

She cried out in the most obnoxious noise Nao had ever heard, and he moved to slash at the b***h while she seemed preoccupied even more.

Unfortunately, it became Naolin's turn to howl with pain as he was greeted by a faceful of angrykitty. His Swift allowed him to continue his slash against a different target, and his steel met fur instead of smooth flesh.

The jaguar snarled and bounded to protect his mistress, who, in the time that her brother was distracted, had found her arm and reconnected it with a sickening SLURP of a noise.

This didn't seem to be going very well at all.

When suffering from a head injury, the best remedy was TOTALLY to be dropped on one's head yet another time. It was lucky for Guelherme that this was the remedy in vogue, wasn't it? This, and other scathing thoughts were running through the aching young man's thoughts as he tried to get his bearings and failed.

All around him all he could see were Naolin...or several Naolins, actually, attacking the crazy nasty woman who now held his main power focus. He could throw the fire from his body, but too much and he would be dead and cold on the floor, of no use to anyone.

The only solution he could then find, was to throw himself on the back of the kitty! As quietly as he could, he leapt through the air, praying he could land just right! Otherwise they were both dead, and their fabulous life plan was ended as soon as it had begun!

Somehow, despite seeing multiple versions of Naolins and Jaguars, Guelmy managed to hit his mark, landing on top of the jaguar. This maneuver effectively incapacitated the very large feline for the time being, or at least, the Fa'e kept him from doing anymore immediate damage.

With that barrier out of the way for the moment, Naolin dragged himself over to his sister, but didn't make it far, as she noticed and put up some sort of barrier that he could not cross. She looked tired, but resolute in her task. Sweat had dampened her hair and it hung heavily against her, seemingly weighing her frame downwards.

Not only was Naolin in pain, but he radiated hate at this woman who decided to not fight fair. Luckily, after much struggling, he found that he could reach the bottom of her foot, and without even thinking about it, he shove the still (amazingly) lit end of his cigarette into the flesh of her arch.

She screamed, and tightened the boundary spell, causing Naolin to choke and gasp for air.

This event was not going according to her plans either.

Riding a large cat was not easy. It was much harder when the rider had a moderate concussion, and several bleeding wounds all down the back of his body. However, considering that said cat was the cause of the injury made it much easier to hang on for all he was worth, and pray that Naolin could handle the b***h woman who seemed to be in charge.

"Take her down, Naolin! Mostre isso filho da puta que é responsável!" In the heat of the moment, his English left him almost entirely and he could only snarl in his first tongue.
PostPosted: Wed Oct 07, 2009 2:37 pm

The jaguar hissed and snarled, bucking and pawing up at him as much as a cat could in attempts to remove the pesky Fa'e from atop him.

While the words encouraged Naolin, they also alerted the sorceress to not only the obvious plans, but the fact that her nahualli was in trouble as well. This angered her more than her brother's attempts to kill him, and she echoed his snarling.

"Let him go," she commanded in a low, powerful voice as she held the flaming orb in her hand. "Or else I will destroy your magic first, and then both you and your friend" She spat the last word out as if it were poison, and with a shaking hand, she lifted her brother into the air.

He weezed painfully, grasping at his throat with his empty hand and clinging onto his machete with the other. His coloring now reflected a sort of pale, dirty blue.

"Do it now!" Coyol snapped, eyes wild.

There was a deep dark part of Guelherme that wanted to push his luck, to see what would happen if he squeezed harder, perhaps choking this savage animal to its death. The cat seemed very important to the witchwoman punishing them both, but the pain in his head, and his limited experience in life won out, and he limply slid from the back of the animal. Hopefully he'd hit his head on the way back down again, and he could be blissfully unconscious for the rest of this delightful encounter.

But now, there'd always be that wondering in the back of his head. Hindsight is, after all, the clearest.
