Well, I'm called "Ed" by nearly everyone, but that nickname's not actually from band.
My band nickname is Tuba. Inventive, huh? Still, I was walking through the mall, and I passed a band kid. Right as we passed, he looked at me and went "Tuba" My mom thought it was the funniest thing ever.
WE do have some really great nicknames in our band, though.
There's Flaming John, because our BD said that it would be funny to set the cymbals on fire, and our cymbal player is John.
Then there's "Ficus." He's a percuassionist, and one day the BD asked him if he was a houseplant, because he was just standing there. Then another kid yelled "What are you, a ficus?!"

people in band usually call me uno,because im first chair trumpet.
but the second trumpet aka my bestfriend is called the giant one because of something stupid she said last year.

 We may be two of a kind...♪~♥~♫My friend called me and my friend Tracy "Bass Clarinutes" because we both play Bass Clarinet and...
I dont know she's just random like that whee ♪~♥~♫But I... I will always be the better one...

My band nickname is Frenchie for 2 reasons. One, because I play the french horn. Two, because one day I showed up at school with curled hair like frenchie off of grease.

I don't have a nickname yet. gonk It's only the first week of school, so yeah. But whenever our BD calls out our section he goes "Trumpets and trombonist", I'm the only trombonist in my period.

welllllll,my nickname came from p.e but moved to band.it is.......OCD.the chairs were out of order so I made the sax playets get up and move thar chairs

But I often hear Kitty, Miss Kitty, Mew Bassoon, and just plain bassoon.
but then my boyfriend is called BGB by our section (baritones). XD
