"Mar dhaoine aonair, táimid ag lag. Le chéile, táimid ag cumhachtacha." Althenna said before repeating in the common tongue, "'As individuals, we are weak. Together, we're powerful.' Alone, we will be slaughtered by the demon lords, without a doubt, but together we can gain strength. Besides, I've been in a scrape with a demon lord's son and lived, I believe the tides are on my side." she said, "And you can pull black crystals out of the ground without touching them?! That's rather impressive. Your hand-to-hand will compliment my archery skills as well. I believe we will make a good team."

Kayn gave a sideways grin. “Very well then,” she said with a nod. “I will fight by your side, Althenna.” She glanced around at the city, not spotting anyone who looked like they would assist their cause.
“Although I’m not sure where you’re going to find others to help us,” she said.

Althenna frowned a bit, "Well... let's pic a direction and walk until we find someone. How about that?"
'I really should have left with a plan.' she thought. Though she knew, it wasn't something she was ever going to do.

Kayn rolled her eyes. Well that was some plan. But she’d still be wandering the streets with no purpose if this human hadn’t found her.
Kayn wasn’t quite sure what someone dissatisfied with their rulers looked like, but she kept her eyes peeled.

A Human noble rode along the Western Road, the massive highway dominating the western and soutern parts of Neutra. Though a drought had dominated the land for years to the point of hysteria and mass panic, his canteen was full with spring water. Though most were poor, he wore opulent silk clothes. His long wagon train was surrounded by armed men, poorly skilled in truth but armored in heavy chain mail. No horde of peasants would dare try any form of uprising, no small, unmotivated group would dare an attack. He felt invulnerable. Until his train saw a man. He was dressed in green and brown, with a dark brownish-black suit of studded leather armor. He hand his knuckles buried in his sides, with a wide grin on his face. "Stop there, Sirrah!" He called out in High Kinar. "Your wagon and it's contents now belong to the people of Neutra!"

Valora placed one hand over her gut as it growled. No one had hired her in a while and no income meant no food. Even those who were recruiting for the Demon Lords weren't interested in her services - they would never be interested with a half breed.
She rose from her spot on the curb and dusted herself off. She was beginning to feel weak and needed something to eat. Only one thing to do... she thought relunctantly. Scanning the area, she located a big enough crowd to act.
Val entered the scatter of people just like anyone else, sliding through until she spotted a glimmer fo richness. It was a Demon, but he was definately wealthy. His cladding shon loudly in the crowd and he glided staunch and arrogant, making the job easier. She slowly approached the hellish creature seeming like she was just going to walk past. As she dropped her shoulder on him, her hand quickly darted into his pocket and retrieved whatever she felt first.
He instantly turned and glared at her with intensity, almost causing her to regret choosing him as a victim. She knew he didn't feel her hand - she's had too much experience to get caught now. "Watch where your going, half-breed!" he growled at her breathing putrid breath on her face. Val bent her head apologetically, but inside she grew mad at the name.
"I'm..." she softened her face more again, trying to look as helpless as possible. Her hungry pale appearance probably added to the act. "..sorry, sir!" it hurt more to not say what she wanted. He snorted and turned to walk away. Valora's expression hardened into a stare that could kill. How she hated to be singled out as a half breed.
She walked away happy with herself. Throwing the small bag of coins up and catching it again, she slyly grinned. "So sorry, indeed." Val walked until she spotted the pub, and her stomach roared with excitement. Just as she was about to enter, she spotted two woman talking outside. The human looking rather "well-off".
Valora stopped and thought. Well, I do need dinner aswell she turned towards the pair and started off again. Her confidence may have been a little too high, but she continued.
Just as before, she dropped her shoulder on the small human as she passed, slipping her hand into the pocket. "Oh!" Val let out a false gasp. "My apologies, mam!" she said before hurrying off with whatever she had just retrieved.

Althenna glared after the girl who had just bumped into her.
"Kayn." she called as she started at a fast clip after the girl.
She did not call after the thief, only idiot did that. Instead, she growled and chased stealthy after her.

Kayn scowled as Althenna left to chase after the pickpocket. Although she would probably be caught doing the same (most likely barreling after them at full speed to tackle before dismembering them), the demoness couldn’t help but feel annoyed.
Sighing to herself, Kayn ran after Althenna. Maybe she could get in a fight with the pickpocket.

Valora continued to walk around the corner as she would usually, trying to look as inconspicuous as possible, not looking back. Only moments later did she hear the light patter of a pair of feet. Stealth movements trying to intercept her.
She then realised her pick-pocketing skills must have been getting rusty... or she underated the skills of this human. But, even if she was coming after her, she was still just human. Val would make sure she wouldn't be an easy catch.
Valora quickly stepped into a sprint, her head ducked low for more momentum towards the alley wall in front of her. With enough speed, she leapt towards the corner walls and kicked off to rebound upwards onto the roof. Being a half demon, her strength let her get up the wall with ease.
But she didn't let her confidence get to her this time... she had already judged this human wrongly before. So she continued to run.

Three hours later, the guard had been captured, and the noble's train handed out to the poor. Robin Hood went back to his forest, a smile on his face. Again, another good deed done, and the destitute happier for it. (Good night, everyone. See ya tomorrow.)

Althenna could feel the weak demon energy of the girl.
'A half-breed.' she thought. For a moment, she thought about letting the girl keep the -- probably -- much needed money, but then a different thought came to her.
'Or perhaps she's in need of something a bit more productive...'
Althenna had infiltrated the homes of four demon lords, she would be damned if she let a wall stop her. Though she could not jump as high as the half-demon, she did jump high enough to catch hold of the edge of the roof. Quickly pulling herself up, she quickly tried to make up the distance she had lost.

Following, and completely entertained, Kayn watched the pickpocket leap onto the roof of the house with ease, implying that she was much more than human. Kayn couldn’t help but have her lip curl up in disgust- she had to be a half-breed, one of the worst taboos in demon society.
She then watched Althenna leap onto the roof as well- although not as gracefully as the half-breed- and continue the chase.
Impressed, Kayn flapped her huge leathery wings and took to the air in pursuit of the others.

Valora looked back. The human was indeed skilled. She was still able to make it up the wall with some speed. To top it off, the other woman - the demon, was chasing her too. Val now really regretting being so greedy.
She looked forward again and lucky she did as she came to the end of the building. Val only just gained enough posture to jump off the edge and land into the crowd but not as gracefully as she had hoped. Gasps and grunts were heard as she landed right on top of someone, bringing them down with her.
Val looked to her side to see a male demon with alot of armour and looked just as rich as he was pissed. It was the one from before. She instantly got back up before he noticed her again, but she felt a weight lighten on her side and the chiming sound of fallen coins hit the ground.
The now extremely pissed off demon, looked at Val and saw his bag and coins fall from her pocket. His face now indescribably raged.
Now I'm f*cked...

Althenna smoothly pulled her bow from its place on her back and jumped off the roof, rolling to lessen the impact, and smoothly making it to her feet. Her mind quickly registered pissed off (heavily armed) demon and steadily paling half-demon.
"No time to waste!" She said as she darted forward and grabbed the girl's arm, pulling her along through the crowds that were steadily eying the gold on the ground. Just as Althenna pulled the girl away from the demon that was sure to start spilling some blood, the crowd leaped for the gold coins.

Kayn saw the furious rich demon shoving his way through the people hastily pick up piece of gold as Althenna dragged the half-breed in and out of the crowd.
The wealthy demon was being to pursue them as well as Kayn flew overhead. Flying low enough to touch the head of the people below, Kayn flew by the demon, kicking him with the back of her foot hard enough to knock him backwards.
"Sorry," she said mockingly as she sped away, before diving into the crowd and walking. And even if he found her, she had been wanting a fight.
