I can see Balmung being in a relationship and being very kind and gentle and sweet and the whole lot...
But not with Helba. Even after he teamed up with Kite, I don't really think he could have that type of relationship with her. He just doesn't seem like the type to develop online relationships.
Helba, on the other hand...I really can't even see her in a relationship at all. She just seems to wise and all knowing, really.

No. Not really. Balmung is all self-righteous, and Helba likes to break the rules be it for fun or to accomplish a goal.
I think Helba would just annoying the s**t out of Balmung.

Aywho, Dill, you didn't think there was an Elk x Kite love interest
within the game. I mean, Elk totally taps into his Endranceness
whenever you give him a really expensive/rare/useful item, and
his reply is somethign to the effect of, "Oh! I'm so happy! I'm not
used to getting many gifts from people" [or something to that
effect]. He sounds like he absolutely orgasms during that line,
all because Kite gave him a gift. Or the fact that he sacrifices him-
self for Kite so he could finish off Morganna. OR the fact that Kite
is the only other person Elk emails (besides Mia). OR the fact that
Elk only considers joining Kite's or Mia's party. OR the fact that Kite
is the only one Elk invites to come with him to save Mia at Omega:
Hidden Darkside Holy Ground. WHAT THEN.
