(( Thank you Eft. <3 Giz drew that as a present. :: still excited over it:: ))

As the ghostlings fumbled about in search of answers to their sudden appearance in a strange city. A strange form appeared in the center of the square wrapped heavily in a tattered cloak. The hood was drawn over its face revealing only a single red glowing eye. The form was transparent and surrounded by dull gray fog that swirled about the bottom of the cloak.

"Such chaos you have created for yourselves. This is no way to worship the goddesses that hath freed you from your bondage." The voice was bold yet had an eerie ring to it. "It would be wise of you all to give thanks to the ones whom freed you from your bondage. And cleared this mess of your god and goddess..."

Somber recoiled from the shifting Entity, his lips pulled back in half of a cry. It fled? From what! There was nothing here to flee from, unless these people were more hostile to those that could see them. He moved quickly, flickering around the waists of the mortal horde - but Priyal's center was far too crowded, and it wasn't long at all before he had lost the violet wolf and the interesting Poltergeist that had been with him.

Not that he was at much lack for interest. No sooner had he found his way back to the center of the city - it seemed like even more were here now - that the figure appeared in the center of them all. Lysombre drew himself up, meeting that single eye with his rust ones.

What was going on here?

Alnara gasped and apologized to the stranger she had just slapped hard across the face when suddenly there was a huge dust cloud and a man with a strange outfit and a hood over their head appeared out of nowhere. The figure began to speak and Alnara turned and watched him, listening and mesmerized by it's voice. It talked about something about goddesses and bondage. Maybe it was these goddesses who brought them here. She didn't really understand the reason behind it,but at least now she had an explanation. Thank them? Thank them for what?

Always shoot for the Moon...

David Glanced over his shoulder as Venus coiled by his feet oddly quiet and observing. He could see how the darkness clung about her it often intrigued him. He'd never say it because it would go straight to her head. David frowned and cocked his head to the side as the misty form in some tattered cloak. The punk talk about how they should be greatful and David wanted to make a comment but thought it would be wiser to keep silent.

Venus stroked the tip of David's tail tentatively. She cooed softly to him before the misty form showed up. Shrouded in a cloak and such her eye was immediately drawn to him. The mere sight made her squirm in excitement. She giggled and practically jumped till he started talking. His eerie voice made her innards turn to goo. She wiggled wanting to giggle again and slowly moved forward listening closely. Apparently she had some goddesses to thank for her being someplace new. Someplace filled with many ghostlings and alot of the male persuasion. Venus wiggled and sauntered her way about ending up close to a poltergeist. He seemed o be rust colored and interesting.

(( OOC... *winces* Valkon probably just got himself into trouble, lol. It's all Kita and Az's fault.. I blame them... *runs* And so did Valkon. Sorry, Gun. XD But I think you are the target for his anger unless something cools him down.... ))

Touma hesitated for a moment, then pushed his way through to the tattered creature. "What are you talking about? What mess made? What god and goddess? And what goddesses freed everyone?" He shook his head trying to make sense of what had happened. "I am only recently here. Many of us have no clue what is happening. And who are those who appeared here in the flash of light? Were they elsewhere and bound as you said?"

"I plead ignorance but even in the life I had previously, I do not remember any of this information." Touma replied. How he wished the other nightwhispers were here. Especially Genma. He would have had this information even as he entered the city. He was beginning to wonder if the other one was perhaps right in leaving when he had.

Hawke curled up in the brush, just listening. There were all sorts of odd sounds near him. Wrapping his arms around him, he frowned slightly. Was it really safe here as his father had said? He was not so sure. Then he heard something near him and shivered, his hand clasping over his mouth. If Corviy were with him, he'd be feeling much braver. Silently, he rocked a little hoping his dad came back soon.

Tai moved down the pathways in the park. He tried to remain alert for any movement at all. Each time he saw it though, there were humans walking nearby. All talked of the festival and going there to play games and do whatever it was that excited them.

Finally frustrated because he could not find them, Tai sat down. He did not know where Touma was either. Probably still back in the center of town most likely. The wolf's tails twitched for several moments in adgitation. He had lost him. Just when he had found him. Then he noticed the leaves nearby moving slightly at the base of a very large tree.

Moving carefully over to investigate, Tai nosed slowly under the bushes. It was was the small ghostling that had been with the larger one. The one he wanted to find. "Are you alright?" he asked softly, trying to frighten him more. It was obvious he was scared and didn't know what to do. "Where's the one with you?"

Valkon had flown high overhead, circling back over the center of the fest to see what was happening. Perhaps he could spot Loa and Fosull, or even Chronos and Azmodeus. But as he did, he saw none of them. Had they been brought along? Lord Azmodeus would be very prominent if he were here. It was then he knew. He had not been brought with the rest of them. Landing on a nearby lamp post, Valkon clung to the perch, settling down to take a good look.

As the crowd milled around and the ghostlings did, Valkon noted the presence of the tattered one. He listened for a moment. Thank the goddesses? Why would he thank anyone for what they had done to his life or unlife. Whatever it was, it was still his. It made him angry to think that he was expected to thank anyone for that. His feet gripped the wooden beam tightly for a moment, then he took to the air, wings pulled back as he dropped downwards.

Landing down in front of the tattered one, he stared for a moment, tilting his crowlike head. All most saw was a crow watching until Valkon suddenly shifted to his shape once more. His violet tails lashed back and forth in anger. "Thankful? Why should we be thankful? Chaos we created? We did not create this mess. Kita and Azmodeus did." Valkon retorted. "The goddess kicks us out for no reason that we knew of. Lord Azmodeus takes us in. And the lady fell to us. She is with him there now. May she rot there. I ask you what choice did we have but to align ourselves under his protection. But I owe him more than I owe any other. We found a home and safety, and now on the whim of yet two MORE goddesses, you expect us to give thanks to be ripped once more from what we managed to find? Bah! May they all rot!"

The yokai's tails twitched furiously back and forth. "It is their mess with which we are stuck in. Why should I care for this place now and it's lack of us? What do we care for this world we were so easily tossed out of? So that they have power and are able to toss us about as they please the next time it is their whim to do so? Like a toy? I'm no damned toy." His voice was more evil growl than his normal voice. "And I have my own plans for this place. Inspite of them."

Quanitela fell forward a bit as she was hug tackled behind. She turned to see her powered snow colored friend with the odd blue markings. At most times Quanietela would be excited to see one of her best friends and she would responded just the same however before she could respond A shrouded figure appeared and began talking about bondage and chaos. She cocked her head and listened she taught she spotted David a little way away but then another creature caught her attention as he landed from the sky a crow and then changed into something more then a ghostling. And he was just changing. She was intrigued by the notion of changing into and animal. She took a mental note about the changing figures for he looked a yokai such as herself.

Davenya wiggled in sadness as Quanie didn't return her excitement. She frowned until she noticed what Quanie was looking at. She listened in to the words and froze. If what he was saying was true and they were to be reunited with thsoe whom were sent away then her brother would be back. Davenya whipped her head back and forth searching for any signs for her brother and she failed. She frowned wondering if he'd merely been forgotten or if he was off hiding.

Chief jumped back when the Nymph screamed and than felt a sharp pain as her hand slid across his face. "You bit-" He started to say as he rubbed his face, that was now turning red at the sight where her hand came in to contact. He was cut short though by a strange figure. He was talking some blasphemy of goddesses bring them here and that they should thank them. Now that he thought of it.... that actually seems reasonable. The bright light, appearing here out of nowhere, the odd figure....Adding two goddesses wouldn't make it that much weirder.

He hissed and than continued to rub his face that was now beat red. Chief shot a glare at the girl. He knew he probably deserved that and even should have seen it coming, but he didn't care.

Jewel glanced away for a moment from the yokai. She saw a very ambiguous figure. He was talking about two goddesses bring them to this world and that they should be thanked. Oh how very nice of them to provide us with this opportunity. Jewel thought to herself. Some people think of her niceness, and gratitude as being naive. She did not and that was all that mattered to her. She than looked back to who she was talking too.

I've been here for only a few minutes and it looks like I might have already made a friend......I hope.... the thought of not having a friend in this strange new world was scary. And if she did anything to make this yokai angry and become he enemy....well that was even scarier. She gulped,

She had been casually hovering above broken pillars within her 'little'...could she really call him that now...'brother's'...ugh...massive castle in his realm. The last thing she remembered doing there was supervising a captive of the light to actually clean the destroyed foyer, then she had been hovering the entire time bored playing as babysitter.

It had happened so fast, her golden glowing eyes wide as she realized rather quickly where she was now, amidst the humans in the port city. Her attenae twitched slightly as she quickly gained her composure, no longer floating on her back as her feet barely touched the ground. How did she get back here...although she was relieved, it had been rather too sudden to feel it right away, and she smirked.

"...what awaits us all now..I only wonder then who else has returned from his realm.."

She kept easily in the shadows, eyes half-lidded in minor amusement as she searched for any familiar banished soul.

She had hidden herself away within the thick forest's of the banished one's realm. There really had never been a bond between the two in the beginning, and there had only been one other than she had ever spoken with before. Other than that...she had been elusive..perhaps forgotten by her bonded deity. It didn't matter, she was happy where she was, alone in the forest, free to roam until she was called...if that day ever came.

Now however, she found herself lost within the center of the city, perhaps in the busiest part. There were so many humans around and it made her terribly uncomfortable, fleeting quickly in this strange place simply looking for refuge.

(( LOL It makes for a good story. :3 ))

The figure focused on Valkon as he begun his verbal assault. Still it remained without movement. The vibrant red eye gazed into Valkon, quite as if staring deeper than the physical existence.

"your light goddess and dark god are in no cooperation with the goddesses. The mess they caused is of their own. The goddesses hath cleaned this mess up for all. They wake but once a year, during this festival of the two moons."

The figure looked over the crowd. No human seemed to notice the tattered figure... Most of them were too busy still with setting up various activities.

"Do not condemn what you do not know. Lest your own soul rot as well. "
The tone remained constant. There was no sign of anger nor joy in his words.

Alnara turned back to the ghostling she had slapped once more and apologized before walking towards the figure that stood in the middle of the town square. She more or less kinda of hovered toward it,but it was still walking...kinda. The wings on her back shot glittery golden sparks as they fluttered behind her. Alnara wedged in between the tall Yokai entity and to the ominous figure,"Ummm, excuse me,sorry for interrupting you..." Alnara said to the Yokai ad then turned back to the figure,"But if I could interject for a moment...I was just wondering why you decided to interrupt what I was doing before to bring me here...surely the goddesses had other reasons for our being here than just to thank them,am I right? If you know who I am,you would understand I reeeeally don't like to be bothered unless it is important." Alnara rested her right hand on her hip and smiled up at the figure sweetly. 'I should try not to get on it's bad side...it doesn't look like someone to be messed with...'

((OOC.. Nice pic of the Watcher, btw.... nice and creepy... And open mouth insert foot again Valkon. XD ))

Touma had asked his questions but then found everything interrupted by the violet tailed one again. He studied him closely. The smaller ghostling was not with him and neither was Tai. A frown slipped across his expression in concern for the lore. Instead of interrupting, he listened to what was being said. Perhaps he would find some useful information, but he wondered briefly if these goddesses would have to be fought as Veros had been.

"Cleaned the mess? Or remade it? They've done nothing but interrupt. And frighten my son and others by their actions. If they care so much, then perhaps it is time they prove it to all of us instead of deigning to show up once a year." Valkon challenged angrily, his fists clenched tightly. "It was a mess, but others still found what they needed despite Kita and Az. What matters if this place is without us? We were not wanted or we would not have been sent out. Do not think to win our trust with simple words."

His eyes narrowed and he smiled rather wickedly, tails lashing. "I may be stuck here again, but trust me, I will find a way to bring Lord Azmodeus back. And without her." He stepped back letting the other ghostling speak. He was done and no less angry than he had been.

Hawke blinked when the lore spoke to him. "I know what you are. A wolf. But I never heard one talk before." He watched the wolf a moment, still afraid. "Is my dad coming back yet? He said to wait here." The ghostling was not entirely certain Valkon would like this creature here. "Maybe you should go before he comes back. He won't be happy."

"I don't see him or hear him yet." Tai replied. "My name is Taizahra. And it was your dad I was looking for. I've been looking awhile. I'll wait here with you until he returns. It will be safer for both of us." Sitting down beside the ghostling, the lore curled up, his tails around the boy protectively.

"I was looking for you dad, because I died when he did. We are connected, he and I. I hope he remembers. I do." Tai stated softly. He wondered briefly how much the boy had changed as a result of his death. But then from the strange things happening, he was sure that Valkon had changed from the gentle soul he had once known. Either way, he would deal with it. They belonged together.

(( Thank you. XD Figured he needed something there... ))

Th tattered figure's focused flashed for a moment on the pink one as she pushed past Valkon to get her own words in.
"It was not I who brought you back, little selfish sylph.. Your threat is as empty as an abyss. Wallow in your own ignorance, it matters not."

His focus than returned to Valkon. "Your own ignorance is astounding. The goddesses are nothing akin to the light goddess or dark god. Trust is of little concern to me. Weather or not you heed my words is of your own fate. Bare in mind you have been told."

Than the focus finally turned to Touma. "You will find all the answers that you seek here. This one I can give to you freely, the mess made was of the light goddess' own folly. She tore the dark from the light and damaged this world... the two surely need each other to exist fully. Cannot a show exist without even the simplest hint of light? What rest does sight have but the dark? The goddesses fixed this mess that was created and restored the dark to the light as it should have been."

The tattered robes rustled as he fully faces Valkon. "the dark god and light goddess are remaining in what they have caused for themselves... I have no more advice for one whom it falls to deaf ears.

I am the Watcher. My eye will forever be upon all of you... what you do, your fate is your own."
It spoke the last part to everyone, yet kept its watch on Valkon.

The fog begun to swirl around the figure in greater amounts. It didn't take long before it was covered completely. When the fog begun to clear, it cleared from the bottom up revealing the figure to be gone. The square was once again as it was before.

Alnara gasped when he called her selfish,"Uh-uh,you did not just call me selfish!" Alnara said, but it left before she could say anything else. If he had stayed, she probably would have cursed it out. Alnara sighed and turned back to the Yokai Entity,"sooo,do YOU at least know what we should do now...?" That was stupid to ask,he most likely didn't...she kind of asked anyway, just to make some sort of conversation. He would most likely answer very rudely and then walk away, that's what most people did when they talked to Alnara...

Priscilla had kept quiet since none of them seemed to know anything about what was going on. It seemed senseless to continue to ask questions of those around her when it was clear she'd get no answers. However, when the cloaked figure appeared, she peered at him closely and listened. Her face crinkled at his choice of clothing. It really was too dark and moody for her taste, but it certainly seemed to suit him, whoever he was.

The more he talked, the more intently she listened. She still kept silent, letting others ask the questions, casting her gaze at those who spoke up. She wasn't entirely surprised to see the purple yokai reappear, though his intense flow of anger did escape her. Something more was going on than she could grasp. Who were the god of darkness and goddess of light? She mentally shrugged. So this gathering was thanks to two moon goddesses, a celebration of them.

She spent a moment pondering what fashions must be in vogue for goddesses. What would a moon wear? She had a sudden image of a full, round moon clothed in a gauzy moo-moo, and she had to clap a hand over her mouth to stifle the giggle it elicted.

Percy's concern shifted very quickly to consernation. As she bestowed him with such sweet smiles and gentle words, his cheeks heated up. He dropped her hand as if he'd been scalded and tried to look nonchalant. This wasn't exactly what he'd had in mind! Somehow it was clear he didn't really mind, however. "I'm Percy," he half-mumbled, casting a shy gaze back to her large red eyes.

"I, uh...," he fumbled for what to say. He wasn't at all comfy being under the consideration of that pleasant regard, but he didn't want to scare her off either. His eyes were drawn to the hole in her chest, and before he could stop himself, found himself blurting, "Does that hurt?" Leave it to Percy to be clumsy in such a social setting.

They were intterupted by a floating apparition at that moment, perhaps saving him from utter and total embarassment. Mortally grateful for the distraction, he spun to stare at the strange figure. Most of what he said didn't much matter to the rather casual ghostling. The doings of gods and goddesses generally weren't of any concern to him. As to two of them being responsible for transporting him and everyone else here... well, he had something good to show for it, didn't he? He glanced sideways at the pretty black and gold girl and wondered what Rompastomp would think of her.
