Well well, I'm liking the look of this place! Hello all, and thank you to the Crew for the invitation. I'm Jokerman-EXE, real name Joe. I live in Washington, USA, so I'm in the Pacific Time Zone. I'm 17 years of age, and a senior in high school. I hope to be going to Western Washington University come next fall, and I aim to become a journalist and travel the world. Cause, y'know, it would be extremely cool. I do all kinds of things, like read and write (clearly, if I'm here), cook, camp, watch movies, sing, and just chill out with friends. I'm pretty much down for anything, and I like to think I'll try anything once. As far as roleplays go, I'm an avid player and I've been doing it for a few years. I'm a member of the Crew over at the School of Dedicated Roleplayers, if anyone wants to drop by and join some awesome roleplays over there. I look forward to playing with you guys, and let's have some fun!

Greetings, salutations, etc. Thanks for the invite, from whomever it came (and that right there is verification of the grammar Nazi-ism that I hope to maintain). Apologies for what I realized after writing it is a grumpy old man-style intro biggrin
First off, I want to thank each and every one of you for reminding that there is at least some hope left in the generation behind me xd that said, I hereby proclaim myself the crotchety old man of the guild, at a whopping two decades. You people can suffer my anecdotes and unnecessary (and likely incomprehensible) travails into philosophy, or just turn down the dial on my oxygen tank.
I've been role playing for, eh, two years? Can't remember (senility's a douche). Started in urban fantasy/sci-fi, then decided to create my own in what is effectively the same genre, except I like to pretend that it's actually entirely sci-fi. As for writing in general, I was introduced to the concept that it was something of which I was capable in 7th grade, went through what appears to be an almost mandatory period of emo poetry ("the teeth of the rose are a black hole into the Abyss"; "so I was listening to My Chemical Romance when etc."; you all know what I'm talking about), and now rule over a small blog for short fiction and belong to a poet's society at my university, in addition to being acclaimed *listens for applause*

My interests lie primarily in the sciences, specifically biology. I. Demand. Reason. For example, in the Pokémon fan-RP I'm GMing, I run the gamut of politely requesting and stoically demanding biological/physical/chemical explanations for the pokémons' abilities. Psuedo-science is t3h <3. I will love you for correcting my SCIENCE fails when/if they occur.

Er... Greetings! I'm o-Angilis-o but please, Angilis for the sake of my sanity. I was officially invited by Spaniard about a week or so ago, and while finding time to clean out my inbox, I realized I never properly gave the invitation attention, so here I am!
Uhm, lets see... I'll roleplay just about anything! My roots start in action-based roleplays, so I'm still trying to break some of the kinks in my style, considering I tend to falter when things slow down and become more -drama oriented-. On the other hand, my characters (if they fight) know their stuff (I'd like to believe).

Woo, so, it's good to see people in here I know! That makes me more comfortable, but on to more about me cool
I attend The Art Institute of Portland in Oregon, going for a major in Game Art and Design. I've completed a year and a half so far, so, that's exciting!
I joined Gaia waaaaaay back when, probably in middle school (which would make me about a six-seven year veteran). The official start date of this account is inaccurate. My first account was banned because I was naughty emo I let a real life friend rope me into using a refresher bot years ago, and of course that led to the banhammer.
I've been clean ever since! I promise!
Well I can't think of much more to say than I'm excited to get things going in here, and I'm honored to have received an invitation!
Oh, quick warning though, me and Siber are trying to fight through finals right now, so our official start in the guild probably wont start up for a little while. Also, Christmas.
Family.
That kind of stuff.

Hello! My name is Elesariin, but you can call me Ele, E, Elesa, or Lessie. I think I might be the oldest person in the guild, as I'm going to be turning 20 in a few days. That said, I'm not a mature human being in any way, shape, or form. Please don't judge me too harshly on that account; my internet time is my kickback time, and I see little reason in spending it on being serious.
While we're on the subject, I should probably say a word or two about my personality. My sense of humor ranges from outright silly to very, very black and equally dry. I can be extremely blunt, although I prefer to think of it as being candid. If I think something, I will probably say it. That said, if I hurt your feelings, or if something that I say really offends or bothers you, please let me know; I'm here to be a part of a collaborative community, not to break it down.
Uh... I guess I should probably say something about real life...
I'm two years into college; I was a sophomore when I was a 'freshman' (much like our lovely guild captain), and am now a freshman when I should be a... junior? I guess. The confusion stems in large part from the fact that I switched to a college with a set curriculum. In other words, you start as a freshman, period. They don't accept other college credit, although I hear they do transfer out if you want to move to a different school.
I won't name the school that I'm attending, but it's one of those super rigorous, great books programs. For example, right now I should be writing an essay on Heraclitus fragment, and I have one more of Plato's Dialogues to finish before the end of break.
WOOT! Virtue. DEFINE IT NAOW!!!!. *points dramatically* .... Nevermind.
So... I guess the material point here is that I am busy with real life. Insanely, mind numbingly busy. If RPing weren't my main relaxation thing, I wouldn't be on here at all. Aside from school and its crushing work load, I have a job, as well as friends who insist on DOING things with me. Also, I have to sleep. Go figure. If I haven't posted in a few days, please don't grump at me. Chances are that I have a very good reason.

I love adventure. Pretty much everything that I do MUST have that as a base. Other than that, I'm fond of fantasy, although it's too easy for them to get trite and irritating. ...Let me add a qualifier; I'm fond of CREATIVELY RUN fantasy campaigns. I have a special soft place in my blackened, bitter old heart for horror and/or mystery games, although they are even MORE difficult to pull off, at least in my experience.
So... That's that. If you have any questions at all, about basically anything (as long as the question does not involve the infamous "Can I have your_____ without compensating you with the appropriate amount of gold?" thing. Not that I believe that anyone HERE would do that), please shoot me a PM or a comment. I don't bite. ...More than you want me to. wink
