History
Living on the outskirts of town where the Rich people never go to, Checkerz lived with his Fiance Abby. They both lived in a horrible looking home but that didn't bother them because they had each other. They were known as one of the most nefarious duo and constantly rebelling against the inner circle where all the Rich lived.
He was happy and excited, he couldn't wait for his sweetheart to give birth to his first child. He was looking forward so bad to becoming a great father. That was until his Fiance didn't listen to him and followed him out on one of his more dangerous missions. She was captured then on public television she was executed. He tried so hard to rescue her but in the end came to late.
That same day as he tried to escape some of the military that were after him he fell though a skylight and in the presence of Yohji, a child that was used as an experiment and a super computer.
Already being shot at he didn't hesitate to grab the boy and take him with him as a hostage. Once he escaped though he started to learn more and more about the boy, seeing him more as a little brother and swore that he'd never let the boy in their clutches again.
Now with the loss of his Fiance and the gain of a little brother he tends to get a bit sloppy at his work. The death of his Fiance was a heavy blow, so he's been rather depressed lately, but Yohji helps him pull though the day and gives him a reason to come home alive. What are brothers for anyways, except to be there for each other.
He does have his troubles with Yohji though. like when Yohji's mind goes in major meltdown and the poor boy looses his senses. It was then Checkerz learned the dangers and strength of the boy and decided that he was defiantly not going back in enemy hands to be tortured and treated the way he was before.

History
When Yohji was born he was sold by his mother to the company Raye's father owns. From then on till he was 22 he was tormented and experimented on. So much knowledge and facts were programed into his mind that after awhile they used him as their main living computer.
That didn't stop the experiments though. Because of them his wings didn't develop till a lot later in age and his strength was unmeasured even with such a small body of his.
After so much going on his mind couldn't trust or take much more pain, that one day one of the scientists went up to him to change a few wires around only to get the scientists head crushed in Yohji's hands. It took the company a few hours to get the boy calmed down from his rage and moved to a new room that had reinforced walls on the top floor of the company away from more of the important equipment.
That same day as Checkerz tried to escape some of the military that were after him he fell though a skylight and in the presence of Yohji.
Yohji was still gaining consciousness when he saw Checkerz and the bullets flying by. Looking down he spotted a flask on the floor and picked it up with the scientist and military distracted with Checkerz. Already his mind working a mile a second he opens the flask and splashed the alcohol on the military personnel and scientist, using his power over fire and caught them on fire, it wasn't till he felt Checkerz snatch him up and run with him over his shoulder.
After they were safe and away from harms way Yohji still keeps in mind that he's a hostage but grows to trust Checkerz, seeing him as a big brother.
He still has his meltdowns though, loosing himself, which Checkerz found out the hard way. After awhile though he slowly started to control himself.
During the next two years he makes his second friend, Raienaa, seeing them both now as a family, but still not understanding a few things in his new life, like emotions of love sadness, loss, joy, etc.

Born in the richest part of town she was raised rather fairly. Except for the fact that her father wasn't pleased with a daughter as the first born. Constantly she was told that she would never amount to anything by him constantly giving her the impression that no one would ever love her. Which led to her constantly cutting her her arms up, leaving horrible scars.
It wasn't till she made one of her first friends named, Abby and was introduced to her friends fiance Checkerz. For a long time she knew happiness until she saw the execution of Abby and found out how Checkerz became more of a fugitive. From then on she took it upon herself to help he friends out whenever they needed her.
Around a year later after the execution of Abby, Raye came across someone that would change her life for the better. He treated her differently than most of the others and made her feel complete. That was until her father found out. Yelling at her he told her that the man that was now engaged to her was far to better than she deserved and to crush her spirits he had her fiance tortured as an experiment in his cruel company. The same company that made Yohji the way he is now.
This made Raye snap not only did she get to see this happen to the love of her life she already knew how cruel her father could be to others if this continued. Taking it upon herself, she stole Checkerz gun and made her way strait to her fathers workplace. Slamming the door open and yelling at her father about making her life a living hell no matter what happiness she found, she raised up the pistol to her fathers head and shot him, then with her knowledge she destroyed the company that tortured all those living souls and the people who worked under him who were just as cruel as her father, thus making her now a criminal and in hiding with her friend Checkerz.

Apprentice to a now dead serial murderer.
His training was rough but that's what was to become to being trained by a serial murder. Thus it brought him to the enjoyment of tearing his victims from limb to limb, usually leading to nothing but a bloody puddle and a few chunks left behind.
His mind is still very unstable so he preferred to work alone and stay that way. that was until a lovely young lady caught his eye and won his heart for a short while until she got engaged to someone else.
He still doesn't think of harming her or any of her friends for that matter. It seemed more like the lady brought in a stray. Yet he remains to call her 'Butterfly'.
It was one day that he found out about her precious item that meant the world to her that she lost.
Taking the long effort he went though to find her special necklace risking his life to retrieve it for her. It was then that he stumbled across the path of a young man that he now calls 'Mouse'.
Mouse not only helped save his life but won his heart over Butterfly.
Mouse is one of the few and main that can help keep Hayes sane for the most part and Hayes will destroy anyone who tries to harm Mouse, Butterfly or anyone else in his new family that brings harm to them.

After months later Hayes grew quite bored with Mouse and left him to wallow in his despair and deprived loneliness.
He now goes back to his old ways, to killing and tormenting others, enjoying the curtailing scrams and helpless cries as he tares defenseless others apart for his own amusement.

Kasane Teto is a "hypothetical" future release of the Vocaloid character series, following the Kagamine twins. She is conceptualized from 2ch, and is supposedly released by a group called Crvipton. (A lampoon of Crypton, the company behind the Vocaloid character series.) In reality, she is an April Fools joke created by VIPPERs of 2ch, meant to trick Nico-Nico Douga users into thinking she is a Vocaloid from Crypton.
Teto is also linked to an alternative voice synthesis software called UTAU. She has voice data designed for the mentioned software. However, it cannot peer with the original Vocaloid software.
Her character item is a loaf of french bread. Aside from these information, not much is known about Teto, though she has appeared frequently in Nico-Nico Douga videos, and at times, with other Vocaloids like Miku and Neru.

Neuro Nōgami is a horned bird demon detective from hell who feeds off mysteries/puzzles from objects or people. When he dismantles the mystery it releases energy for him to feed on. He left hell to find a mystery to satisfy his hunger. Once in the human world, he takes on a human form and forces Yako to be his assistant to hide his identity. In public, Yako is seen as the detective while Neuro is the assistant. He treats Yako as a slave and abuses her when he's in a bad mood; though he does keep her from being harmed in dangerous situations and respects her potential in understanding humans. As a person, he is highly intelligent with a sadistic and arrogant manner who only views humans as food. Neuro mentions throughout the series his desire to consume the "Ultimate Mystery", and he will do whatever it takes to achieve that goal. As a demon, he is incredibly powerful and practically invincible to any attacks. By using demonic energy, Neuro is able to use tools called 777 Tools of the Demon World and 7 Weapons of the Demon Court to assist him in solving mysteries. As Neuro remains in the human world away from Shouki, his demonic energy is constantly decreasing, and his body becomes more human. Because of this, he begins to be vulnerable to human weapons. He views Sicks an enemy for endangering his food source.
