I've mostly been hanging with my friends in real time these past few weekends, but on my lunch at work (which I am on now) I stop to check here, Subeta, Menewsha, Zani, and Roliana. This morning I was up at 5:15 a.m. because I slept a lot yesterday though, so I already did a lot of daily stuff on these sites, but thought I'd check in again to see if anyone has been chatting here. Looks like it's just us!

Today was Orientation for Grad School, so I was away all day...but that'll change tomorrow. I need to head in early tomorrow so I can get my ID, but I think I'll actually bring my laptop so I can just lounge around the campus until class at 4.

Best of luck to you in school, Twinnie. I've been thinking of going back for some time now but I just don't have the money and I have enough debt that I don't want to even think about adding onto it, LOL! *snuggles*

I forgot to check in here again, as usual. You've been to all the forum sites lately fruit!

We all caught something this weekend and Jade was home from school yesterday, and today Jason and I are feeling it. Amber had a fever Monday night and was crying every hour or so. There's a lot of swine flu going around town, so much so that they don't even want you to go in to get tested because they're swamped, and there's nothing they can do anyway unless you're having trouble breathing. It feels like a cold to me, but I started aching today and sweating like my temp's going up.

Congrat Buffy on your upcoming baby, and wow grad school EH? I never got that far. Motherhood kind of stepped in.

EDIT - I just realized it's 09-09-09. I had a History teacher in high school who's crazy about the number nine, and would add fun things into tests, especially on question 9, and would celebrate every ninth of the month, especially sept 9th. I wonder what he's up to today? I was going to look him up on facebook and see if I could contact him (I used to send him emails when he still worked there and had a school email addie, especially on 9-9-99, but I doubt he still works there.) But my facebook account is unavailable due to maintenance again!

Twinnie, you think I can afford this? HAHAHAHA!!! I'll be paying for this the rest of my life sweatdrop

fawN, please take care of yourself and the family.

Yeah, since I can't go on Facebook at work that's what I do. I visit everything else I can fit into a 1 hour time frame. Lately I've been getting caught up @ Mene trying to organize my inventory on my main and my mule. I bought so many event commons for Valentine's Day and Easter this year, sheesh! LOL

fawNie, I hope you're all not getting that terrible swine flu thing. I know at the beginning of this week my allergies were almost unbearable but I'm starting to feel better already. Good thing since I'm going to Delaware Pride next weekend in Rehoboth Beach! I'm so excited! I will send you a postcard.

Twinnie, I have a goal to be completely debt-free by the time I'm 35 so I have a smidge over 2 years to accomplish that, but the way my luck with cars is going this year, I doubt that will even happen, either! LOL

Love you all! xoxo

This sure is taking a long time to get over! We all have various symptoms, like cough, sore throat, stuffy nose, to varying degrees, and some have/had fevers, some haven't, some ache, some don't, and then sometimes our throats feel better for a day, and then worse the next day. It's weird! We're hoping that after this, we'll be immune to whatever goes around this winter!

No offense, but I'm kinda happy I only know you all virtually--I don't know if I'd be hanging out with all this illness going around! Feel better soon everyone.

ROFL Twinnie. I had some chest congestion and a sore throat at different points this weekend, it was definitely odd. I still won't be getting vaccinated for this swine flu stuff though. I figure if I'm supposed to get sick I will and if I croak I croak. I just wanna kiss one more girl before I do. LOL

I've heard too many horror stories from people that get flu shots and then wind up super sick. I have no interest in tempting fate.

Yeah, I hear the shots are pretty much useless for our age group anyway. This flu seems to be targeting the very young, or so the news people say, anyway! I sincerely hope it's not bad.
