Avora's fur ruffled a little. The feeling of Hostility wasn't a good sign. 'Had her mother left Moros because he was mean. Why had she left him? Was it his fault?,' she thought rapidly. She looked her father over. He didn't look to be cruel or anything. Avora hoped that this would end without conflict. She could almost feel Gethin's fur bristling. She glanced worriedly between her mother, father, and Gethin.

Melpomene shook her head. "I told you before when I was pregnant but I didn't think you wanted pups so I left before I had to give birth." She said, "So no I had no real reason for taking them away from you...." She trailed off for once instead of mentioning that they would bring some kind of trouble to Moros if she had given them to him.
Nemesis narrowed her eyes at her mother and moved up closer to Moros. This was why she hated her mother; she had no reason for taking her away from her father. "So dad.... will we be staying with you? Will we see you often?" She asked looking up at him with big eyes.
Momus stopped a short distance from his father. He looked around reading everyone's mood, tense and upset. He looked from Gethin who was ready for trouble to his brother who seemed alert but worried then to Nemesis who was as usual hateful to their mother. He looked to his other sister and then to his mother and then father. Everyone was super tense from the little hostility that had come from Moros. His tail went down as he tried to think of something to do to ease the tension.
Moros looked at Gethin and then to Melpomene as she explain. "As you just heard she had no reason. She didn't even bother to ask if I mind having pups, she just assumed." He said silently seething. He looked down at his eldest and his eyes grew soft. "Hello. What did your mother name you?" He said sitting down and wrapping his tail about him. He looked to the others and then to Nemesis since she had asked him questions. "I would like to live with you but you pups are still young and shouldn't be living a loner lifestyle like I do. Perhaps when you're a bit older you can live with me but for now stay with the pack." He said, "And I would very much like to see all of you often but I'm not sure if I'll be allowed to."

Epiphron wagged his tail with excitement, glad that now, it was certain to him that their tails were alike, and they really were related. He pressed himself close to his father's leg and nuzzled him, pleased to have finally met him.
"Epiphron." he replied. "And they're Nemesis, Momus, and Avora." he said, motioning towards each as he called their names. "Why can't you stay with us in the pack?" he asked his father, ears flat.

Gethin allowed his gaze to drift momentarily from Moros to Melpomene as she explained. He could nearly hear the underlying reason behind her words, having heard it plenty himself. A small sigh escaped him, as his gold gaze drifted back to the father of the pups. "I pass no judgment on action." He commented offhandedly. "However, should peace remain and Melpomene give her approval of such, I would not deny visits."
His gaze shot down to Epiphron at the young male's question. "Sometimes, things cannot be as we wish they would."
