She frowned at his smart-assed-ness and finally turned away from him.
She trotted back the way she had run, at least she hoped it was where she had come from or else she'd be even more lost.
Letho grumbled quietly to herself about mangos and shadows as she trotted along, looking around for anything she may recognise that would help her back to her pasture.

 Nightshade's Fury wasted no time like a good shadow, trotting up right by her with not even half the effort it took her to take one step.
"See anything you remember?" He asked with a grin, covering her view with his muzzle.

"Do you count?" Letho asked with a touch of sarcasm and annoyance.
"This would be much easier if you would direct me to... Anywhere, really." she glowered at the taller creature, wondering how exactly he saw with his eyes closed all the time.

And then he seemed to smirk. "Anywhere? I can direct you back my box if you don't like this location. We'd be..." he cut off as he rubbed against her again. "... closer than this."

A nearly silent "meep" escaped Letho's throat. She fought to stand still, since the last two times she tried to get away she fell on her rear and she did not fancy getting any dirtier or more sore.
She could not think of anything to so so instead simply said nothing. After she was sure she would not fall, she took a few steps forward, as if testing her balance, and then began trotting again, this time with a quicker pace.

He grinned with satisfaction. Was she going to give him another chase? To prove it didn't matter how fast she went, the shadow would always be on you, his pace moved to match hers perfectly, keeping his side brushed against hers.

She bristled, her coat rising due to her aggrivation.
"If you are going to come along you could at least tell me where I am heading." she snapped, turning her head to look at him.
As she did her muzzle brushed the slightest bit against the underside of his. She froze- her body completely still.
"I... Oh." It was an accident and there was no reason to be embarrassed but there she was, blushing once more.

He could tell her where they were going, but there really wasn't anything in it for him.
When she froze, he froze. He liked that. And she was being so cute. He nuzzled up against her frozen body, furthering her accident.
"I... Oh...?"

Letho blushed even deeper than she had before. Virtually her entire body held a slightly red tint.
She did not move away... But then, she did not move at all.
It took her a couple heartbeats to regain her sensibilities, and even then they were stlil somewhat dazed.
"I... Um... Pasture... I should go home." she managed to get out.

"No," he said firmly as he pressed his muzzle against hers. "You should stay here with me."
His dark coat bristled, his fox like ears pulled back and his tail swayed back slowly.
There probably wasn't a choice, actually.

She managed a frown, but it was not quite as harsh as she had intended for it to be.
"But the rest of my pasture," she insisted, "they will worry..."
Letho blinked and suddenly felt as if she had woken from a daze, "And you have done nothing but torment me since you laid eyes on me." she stomped a little hoof on the ground, "What reason could you possibly give for me to stay here where I do not know anything?"

He was acting odd, his game had turned into more than a game now it seemed. "Am I not a good enough reason?" He said, as he titled his muzzle onto hers again.

"You've never told me to leave," he said.
"I have not tried to eat you! I have not tormented you. You're just overreact like women do!"
He was irritated because she was being so difficult! All he did was scare her, chase her, threaten to eat her, calm her down, threaten to eat her, scare her, again and again but he hadn't meant to. Made her fall over twice, but she could just be a klutz!
He growled loudly and then licked her and tugged on the decorations in her hair. And then he huffed.
I hate women.

The "frown" remained plastered on her face but she did not immediately reply. Could he really not know how his actions were cruel?
She shook her head, "No. You must know."
Then... "What?" had she really never asked him to leave? No, she supposed she hadn't. In fact she had told him to be her shadow; just the opposite. Not that she had been serious, but he seemed to think she was.
"Your growling and huffing reminds me of the Big Bad Wolf," she snapped, "and he ATE Red."
