An ogre came rushing into the prison just then and banged on each door with his spiked club, making an extremely loud vibrating metallic sound, nearly deafening all nearby.
"Pipe down, maggots! Da boss is here to see youse!"
With a strange appearance of humility, the ogre then bowed his head to the arriving figure and walked out. The man who appeared was extremely withered and old, though he moved without faltering. He wore a dark brown robe with gold trim and carried a peculiar headdress, adorned with many decorative skulls. On his belt, one could notice a glowing dagger, and in his hand, he held an unusual skull, that despite its age, seemed in pristine condition.
"So," he said at last, approaching the first cell, the one that contained the confused druid,"You all have awoken at last. I thank you all for your help in my research, you have been most useful. I trust that my wardens have not been too rough with you? I've informed them that a quick death shall follow those who harm my specimens."
The sinister man chuckled for a moment then moved from cell to cell, enjoying the hated looks each gave him.
"I hope you know that what I do is for the good of the world. Your lives simply are an unfortunate casualty. Hahahaha!"

Erron shook the vibrations from his head and narrowed his eyes "What sort of research that is for the good of the world requires capturing subjects for, what have you done to her? What have you done with us?"

"Oh nothing to worry about. I've simply taken several samples of your blood and examined them. You see, you, all of you for that matter have exhibited prowess beyond your race's typical strength. I need to observe how that is possible and well, I can't be telling you everything, now can I? That would take away the fun."

Juno watched the old man, confusion burring her vision, making him look all the older and more crippled. She couldn't understand how someone so old and weak looking could have taken her. Slowly she walked up to the bars to look out at him. "...You took our blood, what more could you want?" She asked. The young elf wanted to stay on the old man's good side and not insult him, she wasn't that dumb.

(I suppose punching you in the face won't be taking away the fun from me, damn these guards)
Suddenly the pristine skull caught Erron's attention. "And I suppose you knew Yorick well: I'm no Horatio, and not a mind-reader... may I at least ask the name of my captor and what his field of expertise is?"

As the withered man stared into his cell, he narrowed his eyes, and remembered as much detail , as he could. He instantly loathed the man for taking him away from his precious forest. Then when he started talking about experiments, and having prowess beyond our race's typical strength, it made him even more confused then he already was.
"What are you talking about?" he asked the old man, "I'm a normal elf." Then it hit him, and he remembered the trees telling him secrets. Then he said to no one in particular, "Aren't I?"

"Oh no, young ones, every one of you is unique and every one of you requires a bit more... studying to fully comprehend. This much I can tell you right now. As for who I am, it hardly matters if I tell you. I am Serak Lurraxis. You have no hopes of escaping, so I suggest you make yourselves at home. And you,"he turned to the monk," had best keep that tongue in check, or I will gladly take it from you. Now, on to busi-"
The elderly man in dark robes turned as he heard a massive explosion echoing from the upper floors.
"Must I be interrupted at every turn! I will deal with them and return for you all as soon as I can."
He turned to the ogre warden.
"Ensure that they do not escape. Report anything suspicious to me."
With that, the man disappeared within the darkness of the hall, leaving only the single ogre guarding the cells.

Juno cringed at the explosion. She watched the man go and her eyes moved towards the ogre. “Guard?” She asked her voice was airy and smooth, She had a slight city accent, but it was hardly noticeable. She clasped the bars of her cell door tightly and looked out at the tall beast. In the back of her mind she was planning an escape, always planning always rethinking, she could never stop.

Prometheus jumped when the explosion occurred. When Serak left he more confused then he had ever been. He stumbled towards the hay, and sat in it.
"No escape?" he uttered as he was scared angry, and confused all at the same time. He went to bit his nails, which is one of the bad habits he has, then noticed the dirt under his nails. Then he remembered the scent of the dirt, and grass, and trees, and a tear rolled down his cheek, as he hung his head in depression, practically giving up all hope at once.

Current Time: 10:00 a.m.
The ogre warden lumbers towards the cage of the young elf who had called out.
"Wut you want, puny elf?"
Another explosion rocks the area, knocking a door at the end of the hall off of its hinges, a sword fell out with a clang against the hard stone floor, revealing that it may be a storeroom for weapons and armor.

Selce pushed her head against the bars to get a good look at the 'goodly' man. She listened and waited, before she set the kogs of her mind to begin to find an escape. She noted the clang of steel on the floor, and looked to the side. She saw the ogre move towards the wall and stop before he started to talk. 'Here goes." She thought. Selce had sudden inspiration to cast a sleep spell on the ogre. She cast sleep on the ogre.

Erron inspects the doors hinges, walks to the back of his cell taking care to have enough room to get a runner's start at the door and dashes as well as he can, preforming a flying kick using all of his body mass and momentum aimed at the center of the door

Erron attempts to break down the door with a focused kick!
ACTION! If the rolled number is less than 3, the door holds strong, slightly damaging Erron. If higher, the door snaps from its hinges, and Erron is free!

((Hahahah a 1!)) Erron cringes as his foot makes a noticeable dent in the door but aside from that the door holds strong, he sits cross legged and ponders the wisdom of attempting the move again.
Erron chooses to address the only current escapee "Good idea, could you see if the guard has any keys on his body? Working together will ensure we will all get out in as few pieces as possible."
