Dashiell stared up the rocks. His wings weren't really functional yet. Still, just like climbing trees, right? He hung the bucket over his arm and wedged the net under his armpit.
He carefully put his fingers and toes in the gaps, rising up the wall slowly. Izza was making it look really easy! Eventually, a few feet off the ground, he slipped and lost his grip on the wall, falling down and onto some of the loose rocks below. A large gash opened up in his leg. He yelled out and started to cry.
Hearing a yell, Neshaka glanced over to see what looked like a crumbled Dashiell at the bottom of the wall. Abandoning her work, she sprinted over to him.

Izzy gasped violently and scrambled down the rocks, crouching beside Dash and looking his cut over. Oh no!
"I'm sorry! I'm sorry!" she chirped, looking absolutely terrified.

Dashiell sniffed loudly. "It's okay. I should have climbed better."
Neshaka looked his wound over and decided it wasn't too serious, but it did need cleaning. She picked him up and let him rest against her shoulder. "I think it's best if Dashiell and I go home now. It was nice meeting you Izza." Neshaka kept her worry out of her voice to reassure both toddlers.
"Bye Izza. See you around." Dashiell said sadly, then waved forlornly over Neshaka's shoulder as they left.
