"Yeah, not really. Not worth a try, I mean. Seriously, where do you come up with those cheesy lines?" She shook her head, sticking her tongue out slightly. She grabbed a handful of berries too for the road. After all, who knew when they'd get another day like this to enjoy yummy, fresh food again? She was pretty sure Chef and Chris were going to step it up a bit and she hsuddered to imagine what was in store for them.
She went through the bushes Bobby held for her, content to just walk back before he asked her about her past. Her brow furrowed and her ears drooped a bit, the piercings in her ears glinting in the setting sunlight. She gave a harhs laugh at his question. "You could say that...but you'd be wrong. Remember how I said that the cheerleader in me is the fake me? Well, I used to like this guy back home." She waved her paw a bit in the air as if brushing the memory away.
"He was way cool and everyone totally worshipped the ground he walked on, including me, I suppose. I didn't say anything though because I thought he'd come to me. After all, he was popular and so was I and we seemed to be very compatible. I played it cool though and I never let on that I liked him. The only person who knew about it was my best friend, Sheila. We've known each other since we were pups. We're tight, you know? But we like to compete against each other too. Boys, clothes, school, everything. We even went against each other for cheer captain. I won but she said it was cool...that if she had to lose to anyone, she'd rather it be me than some talentless wench."
She fell quiet for a while, scuffing a paw against the grass before she continued. "I found out later that she went for him behind my back and now they're together. I would have been fine with it...if I hadn't found out that she had been telling him that I wasn't interested, that I'd only date him to increase my popularity. After that...I sort of went ballistic. I didn't want to cause a scene so I didn't attack her. I'm not a violent person anyway, so I went to her house, climbed up the tree to her window, broke in and trashed her room." She bit her lip, pausing as she recalled what had happened.
"I totally saw red. I broke her vanity mirror, gouged her vanity with a trophy she won a long time ago, broke her other trophies, spilled her shampoo and stuff all over her carpet. I wrote a bunch of crap about her with her own make-up and ripped up her bed sheets. I broke everything I could and if I ever gave it to her, I demolished it beyond recognition." She fingered the edge of her shirt with gentle paws before looking up at Bobby with a sly grin.
"And I took all of her clothes that I wanted because we're the same size. I went to juvie though because I got found out. Apparently I'm not that good of a thief that I can keep my paw prints off of stuff. I kept her clothes though because I had already packed them in my bag. I guess the police didn't think to look there or my sponsor had already shipped my stuff forward. I was in juvie for about three days before I got dumped here. So that's my big, bad brush with the law." She slid him an amused glance. "Gonna freakout now?"

 "Not at all! It sounds like your friend totally deserved it, not only stabbing you in the back, but twisting it a couple of times as well. Actually, I think you went a little light on her... but now I know not to piss you off!
"See, that's cool! I've had friends going to Juvie for no real reason, but you had a killer reason and I applaud you." Bobby started clapping for her.
"Now aren't you glad that you didn't get him so you could meet me?" Bobby gave her a sly, prideful smile like he was full of himself. "I sure am!"

She paused for a second in her walking before answering. "Bobby, you should know to never piss off a female, no matter how tough she is or not. We might seem like all sweetness and light to you but one wrong thing and you can find a kick to your headphones, if you know what I mean."
She gave a light snort at his applause. "Yeah, can you tell that to my parents when they get home from Florida? Because I'm sure they'll take it really well that their only daughter ended up in juvie...not to mention the rest of my friends at school." She slid him a disbelieving stare, golden eyes round and wide.
"it's getting kind of crowded in this forest, you know, what with you, me and your ego being here."

Bobby grimaced. "Oh, so your parents don't know yet. Ouch! I don't envy you! Maybe you should do your best to stay on this island as long as possible. Anything's got to be better than the anger of parentals!
"Sorry." He reached out and pretended to POP his ego. "I let it get out of control again. I know not to piss off females, that's why I've never done it. I've found that if I can remain calm and cool, then I can work through things instead of escalating them."
He offered her his hand to help her over the log again, and just forgot to let go, stepping closer.
"I promise you that I'll fight hard for my team, but with you, I won't fight dirty. We should all have a fair chance on this island as long as we're not covered in mud (Little did they know what the Day 9 challenge would bring)."
