The announcer came on, loud and clear, and Ren looked up surprised to hear she was in the fist match. She stood up as Darren, who was sitting beside her, wished her luck. She smiled and nodded, heading outside into the field, a girl named Abby supposed to be following her.

The referee looked at the two girls as they stood in front of him in the middle of the field. "Okay, girls, you know the rules. Magic only and no killing. Now shake, on the terms of respect." Ren smiled, and held out her hand. "Hi, I'm Ren, nice to have the honor of a battle with you."

"Afraid not." The referee said, frowning. "You have to battle now that your on the field." He walked off to the side lines. "Ready.... Set...... Start!" Ren was already a few feet away at the word start, her hands raised as winds began to circulate above her.
