Hal took the hand and kissed it lightly, then, smiling slightly, said. "A pleasure to meet you, Sapph."
"Why, I'd love to," the Joker replied to Gossamer. He offered his arm to her. "Shall we?"

Sapphire blinked a moment. She'd really been expecting a handshake. "Same here." she replied with a small smile.
Gossamer moved closer to him and wrapped her arm around his. "Of course..." she replied.
Rosie walked away from the table with a plate stacked with cookies. She glanced around the party a moment to look for Gossamer, and found her with Joker. Alright...probably better let them be for a while. She'd just...um...eat or something. She spotted a girl with blonde hair walking around and decided to go and try to make a friend or something.

Supergirl heard the girl following her--such little footsteps-- and turned around to look. Upon seeing who it was, she smiled. "Hey! You bored, too?"

Rosie looked up at the woman and gave her a little smile. "Kind of. Not really any good songs on yet." she replied, then carefully took one hand out from under the plate and grabbed a cookie. "Want one?" she asked, holding it out to her.

Kara's grin widened. "Okay. Let's try the next floor up." Walking over to the elevator, she glanced back at the little girl. "So... Who are you here with?"

Rosie followed her towards the elevator, grabbing another cookie for herself and began nibbling at it. She glanced up at her a moment, then turned and glanced around the room.
"Mffmm-" she started with a mouth full of cookie, then paused a minute to finish it all. "Mommy." she said, pointing towards Gossamer.

"Uh-huh! That's my mommy." Rosie replied happily. "Usually it's just the two of us, but I think it's nice making friends." she said, pulling another cookie out of the pile.

Kara looked quizzically at the little girl, then shrugged. It wasn't as though she could help it, after all. Stepping into the elevator, she motioned for the girl to follow her. "Okay. Which floor should we check out first?"

Rosie shrugged and gave her a little smile. "Whatever one you want then. I'll just follow you around." she said as she stepped into the elevator with her. After a second or two of thought, she glanced back up at her. "Wait...don't hear anyone upstairs? Isn't it hard to hear quiet stuff like that over the music?"
