It was at that moment when the cave came into sight, Jaxom yeilded in his steps while Whisp drew further towards the packland entrance. Maw ajar as he took deep breaths, the young brown and orange male simply stared upon its entrance.
This was it. This was to be the begining of, what he hoped to be, a new begining and a new future. Jaxom was anxious but hesitation also seemed to stir within his thoughts.
Every wolf, within its lifetime, bore the weight of trials. Whether it was to sacrifice ones longing desires or to understand how it feels to lose everything, Jaxom's burden had laid siege to him long enough. For too long he had never known the true meaning of family or friends but packlife would, hopefully, rekindle a part of him that had been lost since the fires that stormed his packland.
He listened with intent, though his facial expression appeared as if he was lost in deep thought, and nodded his head. "I hope so," Jax replied with a smile.
As his tail wagged behind him and a wide grin set upon his orange maw, Jaxom padded aside the green she-wolf. "Lead the way, Whisp."

(( Hm... uhm... I guess my next post should be them entering the packlands, in the pack thread. But right now there is a rather... slow... RP going on that involves her, so do you mind waiting a little until it's finished? ))
