Johannes looked at him and shook his hand with a similar crushing grip, the tighting of his bicep making the USMC tattoo distort a little. "Johannes Von Strahl... I was not aware of an 'assistant"..." His voice growled with a German accent and he looked over the large man. "So what exactly are your duties as assistant?"

"It's nothing much really. I mostly take care of the lab animals and provide some research on large mammals such as whales and walruses, and learn 'ow they can easily pack in body fat." Devon motioned towards two huge glass terrariums, each containing hundreds of mice. "We keep the male and female rodents separate until we need more subjects. Easier on us that way." He grinned and led Jon to the human test areas. "Here's where we test our formulas on human subjects." There were people of varying sizes behind thick panes of glass, some resting, others being given new formula samples through a tube. "One way mirrors, so they don't feel embarrassed."

Ms. Hikaru wandered down the subject corridor, writing a few notes on a clipboard when she spotted Johannes talking to Devon. "Ah, Johannes, just the man I wanted to see. Could you please come with me for a moment? I wish to show you your new lab." The headmistress led the new pupil down a series of corridors, passing by many rooms, until they reached a large metal door with a card slot. Hikaru slid her card into the lock, resulting in a click, the door sliding open with a hiss. "My card gives me access to all the labs, so I can check on everyone's progress." The two scientists entered into a large lab with shelves lined with beakers, cabinets and refrigerators filled with ingredients. On the side walls, two doors led into large rooms. "The rooms are meant for subjects. Don't worry, they're made of 'Flexi-metal', a metal made to expand with a persons body."
