*Murk took both attacks directly, and there's an interesting explosion of shadow clone and golden energy. For a moment, there's silence amongst the smoke and dust, then the shuriken is thrown back at Kokujo.*

*When the smoke clears, Murk has changed. His skin color has changed from gray to pitch black, with bloody markings on his body. He also has a substantially large pool of blood under his feet. What could this mean?*



"You just don't get it, do you? Your weak attacks can't kill me. No matter how many times you try. I'm just stronger than you, that's all there is to it. Besides. It's already too late for you. Just die!"

*Murk raises his hand, preparing to do something epic.*

((Needless suspense? No, I just had a hard time deciding what to choose. So here it is.))




*Murk brings his arm back down and stabs his own chest with it. However, he does not bleed nor look damaged.*


*Kold coughs up a large amount of blood and doubles over*


*Murk twists his arm inside, and Kold writhes in pain. The same effect happens to Kyla and Kokujo.*


"Gya ha ha! How do you like that?! THIS is why they called me the Reaper! Enjoy your slow death!"

"....!" Kokujo quickly raised his hands to try and slow the shuriken with his power over it, but was still forced to dive to the side to avoid it, gaining him a cut in passing.

"Those markings......looks like he had an ace in the hole, tch" Kokujo said to himself. He figured that whatever Murk was planning, it wouldn't end well, so he would need to stop Murk now. Kokujo quickly shoved the fireball he had been building up into the back on one of his shadow clones, the ball of flame being condensed further within it's body by the shadow energy.

It was then that Murks attack hit home. Kokujo suddenly gritted his teeth, grimacing as he bent over in pain. A line of blood trickled down from his mouth. It seemed he had been too late to stop the attack, but what was this? Some sort of voodoo type magic? Whatever the case, something had to be done or they were in trouble, the pain would need to be endured for now.

The clone rushed forward at Murk, hoping to grab onto him. The other clone dashed behind Murk to try and prevent him from dodging.

Kokujo Gathered up his strength, trying to mentally hold back the pain and quickly leaped back, putting some distance between himself and Murk, picking up his shuriken on the way. "Hochofen!" He shouted, causing the shadow clone with the fireball inside it to explode violently.

*Kyla glares from Reishi to Murk, then lets out an angry roar that fills the air with sound before she reverts back to normal form and makes a hasty retreat*

Kokujo blinked, looking at the odd scene. Was that, Reishi? He didn't really have much time to consider the possibilities though.

He hated being told to run, he wanted to stay and see to it the Murk was destroyed here, but, he guess that would need to wait. With a discontented sound he grudgingly turned away to join Kold and Kyla.

"Hey, did we just get our asses saved by 7up? That was cool, I wonder if this'll be in their next advert" Corbenik added happily, then made a face in the general direction of murk, tossing a half eaten glass at him.
