I think there is such a thing as love, as much as there is such a thing as happiness or sadness. It may not be spiritual, but I've been madly in love with someone for a year and I'd be willing to vouge for it with my life. The human brain is a weird thing, so don't just dismiss it as an illusion when we don't know everything there is to know about what makes a human being tick.

People sometimes tell me I'm too nice and caring to be an Atheist. I find that a little sad. crying
One of the last religious discussions I had with my mother went basically along the lines of:
Me: Blah blah something about not believing in God.
Mom: Do you love me?
Me: --What? Of course I do.
Mom: heart heart heart heart Then you believe in God, because you cannot love another person without having the love of God in your heart. heart heart heart heart
Me: .........

If atheists cant love then i'm getting married for all the wrong reasons. But seriously though, i did notice a sort of misconception among my peers in high school. i was in a public school so i cant write it off as the school's fault. i do believe that parents should teach their children to think more logically. heck even a little common sense might do them well in the real world. i cant totally blame the parents for the lack in a child's teaching, but it certainly doesnt help.

lol All everyone knows I am atheist in my school but they really don't care. And all my friends who were once religous keep on trying to get me to believe but the more they debated me about it they started to understand my perpective and they turned atheist too. So yay for me.

Its quite amazing how devoid of thought some people are. You'd think people would be intelligent enough to understand, that all people are capable of love and moral beliefs, even us crazah atheists.
