I'd almost hate to be a Jedi...

Ho-ho... very good point.
At that point in the war, there were already less than a 3rd of the Jedi they had when it started. Now they've retreated to their sanctuary, and with basically nothing to their name.
The Jedi as an individual faction doesn't really have any military power, or even very many ships, and I mean civilian.

Indeed. And they're supposed to keep the peace. Have fun with that
Of course, I suppose it's better than the post-Jedi Civil War. They only had literally a handful then

If a handful is even relative.
Did any stay with the Republic/Imperial Remnant? I could something akin to the Imperial Knights of Legacy popping up in a time like this.

I think it might be possible. The problem is figuring out who would lead such a group, and why
But don't forget, there are still other factions out there, like the Jensaarai, Prophets of the Dark Side, and Potentium

Well, whoever the Senior Jedi General who sided with them.
There could have been a break in the Council. Maybe its Mace. Though that's unlikely.
Or maybe Anakin, honestly. I can see that. Instead of Darth Vader, he became this.

Or we could just make up a character who leads the break (if there is one)

Good question. My guess is she gets killed off by Palps, in an effort to push Anakin to the Dark Side
At which point she'd be dead either way

Des Voh Who? And why is Mace dead? It's in the historical characters post. He was killed by Boba towards the end of the Clone Wars.

Boba was still a child then, how could he best Mace ******** Windu?
Boba couldn't beat Vader in his prime. And Vader is nothing compared to Windu.
