"Nah," Jordan said. "I've got big idiots to do the fighting for me, they told me that themselves." She glanced down as she realized her dad was heading towards them. "Looks like he's done with the meeting," she told her new friend. "I should get down."
Then she kept looking down, not liking that idea one bit.

Tezza looked at the approaching man and sighed, she'd been starting to like Jordan, the dwarf girl was so very different from anyone she'd ever met. "Are you going to show him your cool belt trick?" Assuming you could use it to get down the same way you did to get up. Tezza was just going to jump and hope she didn't get that sharp pain in her ankles that happened sometimes when she landed . She'd never broken anything but her body didn't seem to like the shock of the sudden landing very much.

"I'm betting it'd be a lot harder getting down," Jordi said, although she was probably wrong. It would just be a lot faster, which could be the same as harder, when she hit the ground. She was still looking down there as her dad got there.
"How'd you get up there, sweetheart?" he asked, reaching up. "C'mon, it's time to go."
"Jump?" she asked him.
"Jump," he agreed.
So she jumped. And he caught her. "Bye, Tezza," she called as she fought to get down. Her dad didn't seem to want to put her down. "See ya later!" she added before tugging on Axle's ear so hard he yelped and let her down as she wanted.

Tezza laughed as Jordan and her father walked away " Bye" she called out. The wind seemed to be picking up a bit, perhaps it was tine to try her kite again.
