Ripley, for one, was having fun on the word search. At first, he had been frightened, thinking it was crossword puzzle...now those things threw him for a loop. But word searches...he liked those. Every few minutes, however, he would have to look up and stretch a bit, and perhaps day dream a little. If he looked at the letters too long they would all jumble together...and that made it really hard to find anything. With a sigh, he sat back to get a new perspective on his paper.
This was gonna take him a while.

Kevi nearly jumped out of his seat as he circled the last remaining word of his crossword puzzle. "Yes! We did it, Kippy!" The silky-furred Audio quietly congratulated his plushie partner, his tail wagging in delight at their success. "High five!" The boy whispered, putting his paw up in the air as if waiting for the stuffed doll to 'five him back. Kippy simply sat there, black-button eyes staring straight at Kevin.
"Oh, right, I forgot. You're not tall enough to reach my paw yet~" The little camper chimed, tenderly patting the head of his mudkip buddy. "'Kay, let's go turn it in." With that in mind Kevi withdrew from his seat, and padded over to Chris. "We're finished." He smiled gingerly, handing over his, err, their puzzle to the somewhat-charming host. "Oh, Kippy says 'thanks!' for the fun crossword, Mr. Host sir. He thinks that word games are alot more fun than falling off super tall cliffs."

He had arrived a bit later than the others to the tent, having been occupied with his own plans that morning (kekekekeke). That smirk still gracing his maw, Lucifer strolled in and found a seat near his teammates.
Wait, wtf was this? Seriously? A word search? Whatever. He stared at the paper, first scribbling on it, oh look, a word. Pffftt.... He was bored, very bored.
Flick, the lighter in his paw sparked to life, catching the corner of the paper on fire...whoops. He swatted the paper with his paw, smothering out the flame.
Hmpph....as much as he hated water, it was at least more entertaining than this. Whatever, he had his own evil thoughts to occupy himself. >D

Ripley rubbed his eyes. Man...this was taking longer than he thought it would.
He needed a stretch, and a change of view. They hadn't been told *not* to leave the tent, had they? Ripley didn't remember hearing they had to stay...
Picking up his paper, Ripley quietly walked to entryway of the tent. He imagined he could sit outside in the nice afternoon air and work on his paper. He might even take a small stroll first.

(ooc'ly: *poooof!* voila! ozzie is now transported! from there (the forest) to here! thank god his molecules didn't shift like the ones in gold bars do or we'da had an ozzie-shaped, cumin-smelling pile'a goo!)
(ic'ly smile
ozzie took a sheet, then went and sat down in the corner of the tent, armed with a box of crayons. he couldn't believe that for once he was doing something on this island that didn't involve almost dying in one way or another. and he really enjoyed word puzzles. so, he was going to take his time and enjoy himself while he could...
*many, many minutes pass*
after what seemed like longer than it really should have taken him, ozzie finally put his now shorter crayons back in their box, and handed his paper in to chris, mumbling something to him in a low enough voice so the others wouldn't hear. he then retreated back to his corner to await the results nervously.
(ooc'ly again: but for purposes of continuing the rp in the forest, *poofs back, breaking the space time continuum in the process*)

After wracking his brain for hours on end, Nigel finally turned in his word search. He was fairly certain he’d done all right, having circled all the listed words and any other random words he’d happened upon, (just in case they meant something important). The rest was up to fate now.
Hands in pockets, Nigel headed back to the mess hall to grab a quick snack before wandering off to explore the camp further.

Ratchet didn't particularly care for word puzzles like this. They hurt her eyes, squinting at a jumble; it was like trying to pick a bolt out of a drawer full of screws. So it was no surprise when the thing took her a while to do. Still, it didn't seem to be a race, so she went over it meticulously, letter-by-letter, until she found each and every word on the list. Rubbing her eyes, she turned her paper in and headed off to decide what to do next.

Elli wasn't certain if she was happy or disappointed by the challenge. On the one hand she liked word searches as they were almost literary equivalent of a treasure hunt (in her mind the true equivalent were crosswords). On the other hand after the exillerating challenge that was the cliff diving, a word search seemed far too tame.
Still, she quickly got to work, struggling to keep the skunk's smell from distracting her search. She did the challenge as quickly but as thoroughly as she could and left to look for a certain team mate.

Serena just stared very unhappy at the paper she was given. This was completely boring. She was woken up for a WORD SEARCH!? She groaned, exhausted, and sat down with the paper to work on this... It hardly took her that long, being that she was not a slow girl. When finished, she would turn in the paper and walk off to the Mess Hall to make sure her duties were completed.

Billy looked at the paper, well this would be easy! Grabbing his only highlighter he started to work on it.

Bobby had spent a considerable amount of time working on the Word Search, even finding words not on the list. Finally satisfied that he'd found everything he needed to, he approached Chris to turn in his paper.
"Hey, man, that was pretty fun. Thanks!"
The cool audio leaned in closer, speaking conspiratorially, all the while smiling internally knowing that the clothespin could only keep out so much of the smell.
"Dude, I was wondering how a guy could get a cool job like this? What did you have to go through to get to this point?"
Bobby leaned in, almost as if he was dying to ask a million more questions.

Chris had taken to playing tic tac toe with himself.
...And losing.
Twitching and damn near throwing his pen at the camper, Chris kept his eyes down and ears pinned back. "Dude, if you don't get away from me right now I will kick you off the 1000 foot cliff myself."

As she finally scratched out the last word, Ariel squinted and rubbed her eyes. It'd been fun at first, but after a while the letters had seemed to dance and waver in a sea of blinding black and white. Determined not to be the reason for another lost challenge, she'd perservered until every single word on the list was checked off.
Glancing up to spot one of the Gulls at the table, Ariel decided to wait a few minutes to turn her 'challenge' in.

"Whoa, dude, chill! I was just trying to make idle small talk. I thought your role as host seemed pretty cool and I just wanted more information. But if the skunk stench bothers you, then please help us find supplies to clean our cabin properly so we can all stop suffering." Bobby winked at him cooly.

"I got to be the host because I'm -awesome-. More so than you will ever be." He smirked a bit, but it was still clear he was -rather annoyed- to be that close to a smelly camper.
"No. I don't clean dude. Go away." Chris was in -no mood- to be hassled. He wouldn't be much help with finding anything useful to the skunked campers.
