"She hates my music." Cadence muttered, letting him in. "Girls this is Lance, and he's gonna hang out, because the music store is closed." She explained. Cadence led him into the living room, and walked over to the platform. "This is our instruments"

"Cool..." he said, looking over the instruments. "I'm going to go out on a limb and guess you girls are in a band?" he asked, but not really, since it was pretty obvious. These were top grade instruments. He could tell just from looking at some of the most looked over parts of the instruments.

"Well not just us girls, there are two guys too, but they arent showing up like they're supposed to be. We're missing one person, and it sucks, because no one plays it anymore." She explained, running her fingers along the keyboard. "We're called Hysteria, the biggest hit in New York, other than that..." She suddenly looked sad.

"Huh..." he said, walking to the keyboard. He played a couple chords. With a dissatisfied frown, he adjusted the sound a bit and repeated the act. WIth a nod he turned back to Cade. "Sorry, but they were a bit flat." he said sheepishly, rubbing the back of his head.

"You play?" She asked. "No one has ever played the keyboard...it just sits there." She added, looking at him. "You play?" She repeated, her eyes growing hopeful. "Oh please say you do."

"A little. I play in my spare time." he said shyly. He didn't like being put on the spot. And the girl was giving him an odd look. Hewas too modest to say exactly how well he played. He just wasn't the type to brag.

Cadence nodded slightly. "We need a keyboardist...so bad." She answered. She looked at the drums and then at the mic. "If you're interested, you know where I live, but want something to drink?"

"Oh! No...I couldn't!" he said, protesting. He didn't want to impose. He hardly knew the girl. It would be rude of him. "You know, maybe I should just go...." he said, not wanting to be a burden here for too long.

Cadence looked at him, she was now confused. "Umm, you certainly can join the band...and have a soda...?" She felt extremely confused. When he said maybe he should go, she sighed. "I understand, I was babbling..."

"It's not that. It's just I don't like to leave my mom alone for too long. SHe just left my dad and I don't like to leave her to brood." he said, looking down at the ground. Oh of all the times to be shy! Dang it! he thought angrily to himself.

Cadence nodded slightly. "Okay, umm let me walk you to the door." She replied, leading him to the front door. "Sorry to hear about your parents..." She whispered quietly, the girls still sat on the couch. "Umm..come by tomorrow...or something."

"Hey...do you really need a keyboardist that badly?" he asked. He was thinking that it couldn't hurt playing in a band. He was just afraid of how he would compare to these guys who probably had years of music on him.

Cadence nodded. "We do...very much." She answered. She bit down on her lip, hoping he'd agree. She checked her wrist watch and sighed. "Officially, the guys need keepers." She muttered to herself.

"......................what the heck......I'll gve it a shot." he said, trying his best to smile big, but it came out kind of weak. He hoped that he'd be okay. The worst thing would b to find he was way behind these guys in experience and wind up making a fool of himself.

♪ Aylish § Baile ♪ ((ok, I missed a bunch...skimmed over, though think I got the gist of it XP))Aylish glanced up when there was a knock on the door, and again when Cadence came back in with a boy. Aylish didn't recognize him, but apparenyl Cadence did. "Cool. Join the party, Lance." she said, giving him a smile.
Soon the two went back to the door, Lance saying that he had to leave. Aylish looked at Charity, raising an eyebrow in a silent question. She came back to the conversation in time to hear Lance agree to be in the band. Her face lit up and she yelled, not loudly, "Hey, awesome, we've got a keyboardist!" ((aw, it's 1 in the morning on my side of the world and I'm still fine^^ lol))
