Tumai laughed lightly. "I'd fly if it were possible." Birds and butterflies had always fasinated him when he was a cub. If ever he managed to catch one, he would try and befriend it in the hope that one day one of his flying friends would teach him how to fly. Of course he knew better now, but his fondness for all flying creatures had remained.

"Well you're coming as close as I've ever seen." Ramses beams, amused. "Well other than the time I bumped Maji into the pool...but that was really a lot more thrashing and swimming than flying..."

Tumai flicked his tail contently from side to side as he walked along beside Ramses, just a little ahead of him. "The pools in the Crater aren't deep enough to swim in, they hold just enough water for us all to satisfy our thirst." Thinking back to the Crater for a moment, he wondered if his mother and two sisters were OK. He was quite sure that Ithi could take care of herself, but he still worried about her aong with Laini and Hisani. "If you don't mind me asking Ramses...whatever happened to your family?"

Ramses blinks, and then looks embarassed, his step faltering for a moment before he continues. "I Don't know really...my father I don't remember, and my mum? She was sort of mad...She'd always tell these fantastic stories about impossible things...well...some of them sounded a little like here so she must have visited once...but...she'd get really distracted, go off and try and find someone, but she'd always forget who. I was just a cub when I lost track of her...she sort of...wandered off when I stopped to chase a cricket, and then I lost track of her scent. I always sort of keep an eye out for her...but I really don't know if she's still alive, or if I'd even recognize her if I saw her...it's been a long time..."

Tumai stopped as Ramses' steps faltered. "I'm sorry to hear that...my father passed away before I was born, so at least I know how you feel having grew up without one." He was about to say something else, but then hesitated. Having a mad mother must be very hard as it is, without having to try and explain it to people you have just met. Giving a small smile, he started walking again. "Well, at least you have your Mistweaver family."

"Nah..." Ramses picks up his pase again with a soft smile. "I just wish I could have found her again, you know? But it's a big world, and she's only one lioness...And you're right, I have the Mistweavers...I couldn't really asked to end up with someone better. Maji had a heck of a lot of patience too." He chuckles. "When we met I was squalling at this huge rogue because he said I was stupid for thinking my mother walked off. I think if he hadn't come along then I WOULD have done something stupid."

Tumai's smile grew a little. "Maji sounds very wise, I can't wait to meet him someday." He laughed lightly. "I hope he isn't too bothered by my lack of knowledge. I learned as much as I possibly could before coming here, I hope that's enough to impress him, even a little." His jade eyes blinking as he looked ahead, as well as around him, he wondered what Maji would look like.

~Masamune~ "How was it? I mean, living in the mountains?" It was pretty much the complete opposite to where he lived, at the very bottom of a huge Crater. "And how did you eventually make your way over the mountains and into the Mistweaver territory?" So many questions, he was so glad that 'Kela was giving him all the answers he desired. With a firm nod, he looked deeper into the Jungle. "I'll certainly continue onwards to meet them." A gentle gulp could be heard faintly in his throat. "Do you think they'll greet me as graciously as you and Ramses have?" (( heart *For Kel* ))

The snowy lioness made a small face, and laughed. "So many questions still! And that's a very long story..." She took a deep breath. "To cut a long story short, my old pride... we are descended from the Mistweavers, the Tufani-wana. But the Mistweavers became somewhat of a myth to us, the same to you I suspect... We had a Steward, and he tutored us in the old ways, me and my brother, because we were born with the old blood colours.." She glanced briefly over her shoulder at the stormy grey rune marked out amongst the white fur of her back. "'Kisulisuli and I made a pact. He would remain with the pride, to make sure it kept to the traditions... and I would go to discover whether it was really myth or not."
She smiled softly. "Of course, it wasn't myth, and the Mistweavers are here, real, among the jungle and waterfalls. And I'm sure they will greet you kindly, young Tumai... as long as you mean no harm and do not upset the balance, all are welcome." She yawned delicately, pink tongue startling against her pale fur, and stretched to her feet.
"But I must continue my hunting, Tumai! Neither of our bellies are getting fuller by sitting here..." Kinyamkela laughed gaily, and flicking her tail in salute she began trotting onward into the undergrowth, the way she had came. Soon the silver was lost amongst the green.

Tumai took in all that 'Kela said, and as she bid farewell, he smiled at her fondly. "Thank you for everything Kinyamkela! I hope we meet again soon!" The now rejuvenated juvenile plodded onwards at a quicker pace than before, eager to meet another Mistweaver. He had walked so far now that he was bound to be on the borders of the Mistweaver Valley.

Tumai slowly but surely wandered deeper into the Mistweaver Valley. The air seemed to become a lot more humid and heavy as the trees grew closer and more knitted together. He stopped for a moment to shake off the numerous beads of sweat that had formed on his head, and to sniff the air for any signs of life nearby.

Ithi had been making her way through the lands quickly on her way out, she knew that the events that had just happened would mean that things could then happen. For now she was fighting with herself, she couldn't understand why it happened or what actually happened but she could remember the licking, the soft bites, the... just everything.
She wasn't looking where she was going so when she did finally raise her head and see a lion who looked somewhat like the brother she hadn't seen since she was a cub she nearly jumped back in fright, what a great time for a reunion. "Tumai?" She tried to keep her voice calm though she wished to snarl, the inconvenience of it all!

"Ithi?" Tumai continued to move forward, his jade-coloured eyes moving over the lioness. It was definatly her though, and even though he didn't have very fond memories of her when they were both cubs, he was still glad to see her. Quickly he moved to her side, giving her a soft lick on the cheek. "How have you been sister?"
